  1. "You say it was this morning when you last saw your good friend

Lyin' on the pavement with a misery on his brain

Stoned on some new potion he found upon the wall

Of some unholy bathroom in some ungodly hall"

I'll give it to noon tomorrow.

I think I know this one - can think of the writer and the tune, but the title hasn't come to me yet. Think, bowtwi, think!

  2. Off topic BOWTWI Each time I see your avitar with that woman and her leg sticking out I want to buy her a pair of pants cause she looks cold... Isn't that funny?
    Hee hee, yeah, I'd say that's funny - especially since that's Miss Dolly Parton - the very essence of HOT!!!! :anim-smile::anim-smile::anim-smile: Cats in the Cradle %3Cobject%20width=<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-s5r2spPJ8g?fs=1&hl=en_US"><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-s5r2spPJ8g?fs=1&hl=en_US"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-s5r2spPJ8g?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385">">
  3. I was on my interim year in the 10th corps...my wife and I were sent to Gastonia, North Carolina...

I came home from a meeting and she was gone...left a note she did...

after 3 days, I called Martindale...he handed me my walking papers and booted me out of the corps...

He was harsh with me...told me to "find a twig somewhere and keep in touch"...

At that moment, it all became clear to me...I told him to go "F" himself and hung up...never looked back...

it was one of the most liberating experiences of my life.

I wish I could have a 5-minute do-over. I'd love to go back in time and tell p.mosqueda a similar thing to what you

told martindale and punch him square in his lying nose for the false accusations he laid on my son and me.

Oh, and that other slimy lieface back in my home area that thought it helpful to tell my precious former mother-in-law

at a garage sale where other local townspeople who knew her could hear that her grandson was a "child molesting homo"

and wanted in 5 states... Him, I'd like to rip limb from limb. That might take a couple more than 5 minutes, but oh man,

I've dreamed of that more than once! Fortunately, she smelled bullsh*it frm a mile away and never for one second

believed his lies. I shouda listened to her back when she told me this outfit was rotten...

  4. This is wonderful news - and thanks for posting on it. I don't watch much news and wasn't aware they were trapped in there. I'm so impressed they survived that long and what a tremendous effort to rescue them!!!

  5. You said that very well Bowtwi!

I don't believe there is a nasty bone in Bowtwi's body, so I don't believe she was being nasty. I think she just presented the facts as she saw them. I think the same way.

Sometimes it so easy to get racing around that one forgets where one came from. I can imagine with your life zooming along at 70 mph in several directions at once that it's easy to forget where you got your information, or encouragement, or suggestions for lesson plans etc. Sometimes I wonder how you got done all that you did!

Once you've thought about it,and our perception has been reflected back to you...perhaps you'll find a little time each week to spend with us, your friends, and even brothers and sisters as it may be. I admire you and I certainly mean no disrespect by these remarks.

Thanks, Krys - you're absolutely right - I mean no offense. I really appreciate your input.

I do think Cindy! knows me or knew me well enough to know my intentions but I think you cleared up any potential doubt I may have left.

  6. My latest song only a couple nights old.

Been playing around with r and b styles...

After making it I realized it reminded me a bit of Joe Fair, Smokey Robinson and errr, Boy George all rolled into one. :)

    Let's Groove, RexRed

    Enjoy! Dance a little :)

Edited to some of my album art and a few photos.

That's you? Very cool, indeed! Thanks for sharing!

  7. Did I answer your question, Bowtwi????

On one hand yes, I feel you answered my question quite nicely. And I love that you want to share your wonderful achievements with us.

On the other hand, I guess I'll wait before getting too interested in you and your life until I see if you're going to stick around and actually

participate in "our" lives too or if this is just another instance of you sharing your accomplishments and then disappearing for months.

I take it that the moment passed that you were going to actually share the results of your research with us that you came in and asked

for our help with? You've addressed my question about it but haven't said whether or not you're going to actually follow through and do as

you originally said you would. You said why you haven't done it. Again, it's up to you how much you want to share and with whom, just as

it's our choice now if you ask us to contribute again whether or not we want to help you further.

Personally, I'm not interested in one-way relationships. I prefer a give and take. I am happy for you and Steve! but I have to say that I feel

a bit used and taken for granted when you post the way you do the past couple years or so. Like I said, I really prefer a two-way deal. To

    each their own. Peace.

  8. Congrats on the grandbaby!

And I'm happy for you reaching an important personal goal but I have to ask if you're gonna stick around and hang out with us this time or if this is more of you just coming in to tell us your fabulous news (or asking for help and never coming back to let us know how that research ended up - unless you posted and I somehow missed it) but not participating in any forums or chat?

Do what you want, of course, but I'm asking because I enjoyed you and Steve! before you announced you were leaving and whenever I see you've posted I wonder if its a comeback or a drive-by?

  9. Neither of us were right, Bullwinkle. It's not "Take It Easy".

    It still hasn't been named.

and just to be clear, my "Ha" was in reference to that I put up a song nobody guessed, then I thought I was the first to guess SS's post, but then after I posted I saw Bullwinkle said he thought it might be Taking it Easy by the Eagles... I posted my guess without seeing Bullwinkle's.

  10. It was Don't Cry, Daddy written by Mac Davis and sung by Elvis.

Soul Searcher, maybe you'll have better luck than I did finding a song people know by just one line?
