  1. I feel for you Chef. I don't think if you did not shed tears you would be human. Your mom knows you love her (What a good thing for you and her). Take care and prayers and good thoughts comming your way.

  2. Abigail, Ohh it is such a tough decision to make and I having to send some of my puppers to the Rainbow Bridge. I know how you feel. As some have said above in their posts "You just know" when the right time is. Of course we can't feel what he is feeling but I believe after 15 years we know our pets well enough to know in part as how they are feeling. I don't know how to decribe the feeling of when it is time to put them to sleep but you just know without question. If there is anything I can help you with please let me know. I know it is so tough.

  3. Thanks rickyg

    I agree Cheif.

I think they may have chaged structure but I am going to wait till they tighten down the reighns. The top people are still there that supported lcm and they were staunch backers of lcm. Did the tigers change their stripes? I don't think so. Only my opinion but they need the money so they have slipped the sheeps clothing back on.

The next class of corps is bigger. IMO The start of another downfall.

The only way I see this new more softer twi and believe it is, it lasts another 10-15 years and grows. Then and only then does it ever stand a chance of getting its' glory back. Wont happen IMHO. God can't bless a ministry that stole, killed and destroyed so many lives. It is still the slide of hand trick.

  4. Encore........................Great job you two. Isn't strange so many things a like that ran through our heads but we figured we would understand one day when we became spiritual enough. I think that is what got me so gun ho about the ministry. If only we were able to ask questions and get the true answers.

Can't wait for part two :)

  5. For example shortly after my ex moved out and I was officially "out" of TWI I had:

    - A car crash (not my fault)

Sounds like someone elses "believing" was not up to snuff

    - Hurricane Charlie

My dear Belle, You live in Fla. Hurricane capital of the good old US of A if not the world. Sort of like living at the North Pole and not expecting a snow storm.

    - The flu so bad I really did think I was going to die

Been there done that. :wink2: I wonder if God made the flu (or let the devil make it) so you would think you walked away from His ministry?

    - Hurricane Frances

    See above

    - Sprained both my ankles

Well then explain to me the hemoroids I got on LEAD

    - Hurricane Jean

Hmmmm, This is the 3rd one that came up. Maybe it is you :biglaugh:

    My answers are in bold

  6. I mean, come on. Many of you here condemned the "likes of me" for "copping out" in the 1990's simply because I saw the "hand writing on the wall"-mene mene tekel upharsin-before you did, and checked out before you did. Many of you here were totally vicious to the "likes of me" before your eyes were finally opened. Shoot maybe ol' Craig Martindale should be afforded the same grace that we have experienced (yeah, I wasn't innocent-and I apologize were I an a$$hole-Iwuz :( )But ..anyway...

J/L, it was people like him that planted the seed to shun, dislike and to think evil of you for "copping out". You just left is my guess. How about the people that were thrown out to cover up what he was doing?

  7. If I were a betting man...I'd say once the lawsuits are over, Craig will be re-instated at twi. My bet is that he will be paraded as one who has been humiliated and humbled and (supposedly) worked for a living. He will use himself as an example of 'working and living with-in ones means'. Let's call it a hunch I have.

Oh, along with the fact that certain die-hard LCM loyalists are positioned in places of leadership ready to receive him.

    I'll take that bet allan.

  8. Roy, you ask some soul searching questions. Running from what I ask too. I have been out for along time so I do not really have anything to run from. Having said that I have had many questions answered. I had no idea what happened to the ministry after I had left in 1986 nor did I really know what was going on before hand. I have learned and accepted what I have been told here and waydale by a lot of good people, people I have gotten to know in one degree or another.

The way I do see it.I am not here to run but to help people get out, who have just left, for those that want to know why not to join and most important to help anyone person I can whether here or any place that I can.

  9. In PFAL we were told about the boogie man and how it was a fear thing and not good. Maybe we should have still believed in that boogie man thing and not look under the bed (gone any further than pfal and run like heck).

Both of them were weirded out and both of them came to the same thing. Exposed for what they are(boogie men, monsters.......).

  10. Anybody can allege anything. To be fair, observants need more proof, need to hear both sides, for something to be believable.

Why bother having lawsuits at all?

Just accuse someone of rape based upon the words of the one party, and that's that...

No Oldies your missing a point here. Just because it is not brought up in a court of law does not mean it did not happen.

Just as if say you are ACCUSED of rape by someone and you were a million miles away and it was impossible for you to do it and they spread your name around that you had raped them. You have leagal rights to go after that person. That is why we have laws to protect people. If you decided not to go after that person and prove they were slandering your name. Does that mean you were not slandered? No it means you were slandered but you did not go to court for a law suit. It still happened.

  11. People can state what they will, but a rape needs to be proven in a court of law with all sides testifying under oath and subject to cross examination.

Until then, I believe the proper term to use especially on the net is "alleged rape" or "alleged rapist".

It does not take a court of law to determin rape. Some people that get raped do not go to the police out of fear, shame or what ever reason. That does not mean a rape did not happen.

Come on Oldies, your better than that. :wink2:
