Thanks to all of you for your prayers. The Gamma Knife surgery went wonderfully smooth. It appears that the tumor was not in direct contact with the motor nerve, and that we can expect a good bit of mobility in her arm to return with time. We win the round two. Thanks God!

I would appreciate GS prayers for my mom. She will be undergoing a procedure called Gamma knife this week. Gamma Knife is very focused radiation aimed specificaly at a tumor (in this case in her brain.)

My mind picture is of this tumor being blasted by the rays and disintegrating, with no harm to other cells. I also picture her clapping her hands in celebration of god's grace and mercy. Clapping her hands would indicate regaining use of her left arm which has been affected by this (former) tumor.
