Last time I posted was 5 years ago, a few things have changed. First I got sober (again) with the help of the Sinclair Method, I help people online do the same thing. I'm still an atheist, and thoroughly enjoying it, I mean I'm kind of a pantheist with Buddhist philosophy, but I'm godless and religion free. I've become a radical leftist, got started with that when Bernie ran in 2016. I finally found the right combination of medicine to stabilize the bipolar type 2 situation, I'm living on non-service connected VA disability and a HUD VASH voucher, so I have my own apartment with a cat. My Dad died in Dec 2021. I am working on a streaming show on Twitch called Harm Reduction Show, I'm on hiatus right now. I'm thoroughly enjoying the new Star Trek stuff coming out.

Other than that not much is going on other than writing about my leftist ideas, and atheist leanings.

Many folks here know my position, I have done my comparative religion research and found that what people call the KJV of the bible is like all the other versions rehashed Egyptian mythology. Argue with me all you want I don't care, you can't prove the truthfulness of a textbook by what the book says about itself, you must have outside sources and there are none. There is damning evidence within the KJV text that prove it was a fabrication of the Roman aristocracy.

Anyway Same old TWI if RFR was VPW they'd all still be kissing her foot, and no 7-page letter would have been written.

Ah, Rico, my old nemesis... He was WOW coordinator the year I was WOW, '92-'93, what he did after is hazy. I had several phone calls with him he spent most of the time berating me. He and Robin stated at our apartment when they visited us.

The "snow on the gas pumps" story should have been my first and only indicator that TWI was a total fraud from the beginning. Obviously I didn't so I shouldn't be surprised the good folks here are still chewing the rancid cud of TWI. None of this matters so long as the group remains.

The awkward fallout of LCM left all of his material discredited and blacklisted. No one ever said his name, and his R&E book was only quoted IF THERE WAS NO OTHER SOURCE AVAILABLE. Even then, he doesn't get attribution, just the book title. There was an appendix on his (? his name was on it, but who knows) work on Angels, but not sure if that is still passed out with the class. Hence the reaction to diversify every STS and class, each now taught with a different teacher each time. Every segment of every class and STS someone new. Much easier to reshoot a segment than the whole class should someone go rogue. It also means you can no longer trust one person and their study. It must all be checked and rechecked and scrubbed. That meant going backwards to that which has been already been proven. Collaterals. I know I'm not alone here.

Hello CollateralDamage, great intro, welcome. I don't visit here often, only like today when I couldn't sleep because I was having WOW year or Advanced class flashbacks. We probably bumped into each other throughout the years, I left about 20 years ago but I was active from '90 thru the end of '94, tried sheepishly to get back in up until '99 or 2000 whenever Loy's lawsuit became public. I was at the Advanced Class Special where LCM taped the DTA class, what a trip, I felt so special for about a minute.

Anyway the point I wanted to make is this. It's a damn good thing TWI ditched PFAL, they had no idea what they had with that class, the indoctrination Vic does in it. All they needed to do is run PFAL classes and Vic's Intermediate and Vic's Advanced class and rake in the money. What he did in PFAL alone should be studied by mind control researchers because he uses multiple techniques for trance induction, and implanting phobias, trigger words. All TWI would need to do is stick to Vic's playbook say all the buzzwords in the TWI loaded language dictionary and people would still be coming in droves. But everyone has an ego, and the Fox has to rule the hen house.

Even though this poll is 8 years old I didn't see it until today. Not surprising really, since I didn't even log in for 2 years and only visit once every three months or so when I can sleep because I'm having TWI flashbacks.

I wasn't officially kicked out, my branch coordinator just told me not to bother coming back. LOL talk about passive aggressive.

So should I have another chocolate milk and try to get some sleep or make a cup of coffee?

This is slightly off-topic.

Regarding this re-search stuff, I was given a topic upon which to write my Corps paper, whatever they called it. My work on this was really enjoyable. I learned a huge amount. There was no TWI teaching that I knew of upon the wider subject, where my studies took me; I ended up rummaging all over the OT and NT and it is stuff that stays with me now. Powerful.

My first draft was sent back because there weren't enough references to collaterals and other TWI material (Bible verses, note, were well quoted and all refs given). I had to go through my paper and insert refs to TWI materials - and in some cases, tweak what I'd written so as to be able to make reference to some TWI book. It added nothing; it wasn't relevant.

Welcome BlueCord, Thanks for reaching out to this community. Good things have already been said and some good advice given. I feel your pain. I was involved for a number of years took all the classes went WOW got to meet and talk to the late Mrs. Wierwille several times, once during an Advanced Class special she saw me and a friend walking somewhere and she stopped and asked if we needed a ride to where ever we were headed. My point is there are many good loving people who are in a bad situation in TWI even the late Mrs. W. The closest thing I can equate TWI to is The Matrix. What if I told you it's all an illusion everything they teach is designed to make you a power source for them. Do you get it Copper-top?

Back in 2006 I did the ultimate thing a one time Word Over the World Ambassador and Advanced class on Power For Abundant Living graduate could do. I became an atheist, best decision I've made in my adult life. Get familiar with the stages of grief, you'll be feeling that after you leave. There are any number of books I could recommend. I guess the first two would be "You Are Not So Smart: Why You Have Too Many Friends on Facebook, Why Your Memory Is Mostly Fiction, and 46 Other Ways You're Deluding Yourself" By David McRaney and "Emotional Vampires: Dealing with People Who Drain You Dry" by Albert Bernstein If you don't want to buy "You Are Not So Smart" David has a podcast on Sound Cloud where he covers Logical fallacies and self-delusion topics that are in his books.

Hello folks,

It's no secret here that I've struggled with alcohol use disorder. About 7 years ago I left AA after 8 years and a few months sober, it was for personal reasons I'm not going to get into here nor do I want to debate it. All I know is after 7 years I found myself drinking unhealthy levels again and having difficulty slowing down. I heard about The Sinclair Method a year or so ago, and after doing more research I found that the primary drug used in TSM, Naltrexone is available through the Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Service. I started TSM Jan 13th 2016 and after over 120 days I'm very happy with the results.

So I wanted to share this video, it's on Amazon Prime, if you are a Prime Member you can watch it on extra charge. I describes The Sinclair Method, interviews Doctors in the field, actual people who are using TSM to moderate or stop drinking.

So if you know anyone who could benefit from this information please share it.

Dana I'm sorry for your loss, but I am happy that you found the means to contact many of the people involved and get some closure and in some small way clear your fathers name.

I also want to thank Charlene for speaking up about agnostics and atheists, I'm one of a few atheists here that has called people out. I've made it clear I hate all religions, I have also made it clear I think it's totally stupid to continue to believe in TWI's brand of dogma saying the problem was just bad leadership, it's like saying if I only move to a different cabin on the Titanic it will be better.

Bluzeman called me out as a coward who he theorized didn't say things like what I said in my first post on this thread to peoples faces.

Maybe he thinks I'm just trolling for a fight.

I however have been through lots of self-growth in my time since leaving TWI, many hours of study.

I do not fear religious bullies and passive aggressive people or people exhibiting sociopathic behavior.

I'm not here to make friends or to hurt people, I would like to connect with those who share my feelings.

I do find it troubling that people who once were involved with a christian high demand abusive group continue with the same dogma in any shape or form and think it's a good idea, let alone healthy.

The fact that someone is angry at what I said is a concern for that person, he/she may be delusional and dangerous.

I was directly emotionally and mentally hurt by a high ranking leader in TWI while on the WOW field 1992 - 1993.

I feel strongly that anyone who would defend such attitudes as the belief system of TWI as taught by VPW and his successors are mentally disturbed.

Personally I'm all about emotional growth, anyone who would discount me as a trouble maker because I call them out to wake up to reality are the ones who need to take a look at themselves. I'm doing it all the time how else could I write about something so divergent from the dogma of TWI and become so insulting to those who would defend it?

Wordwolf, I have always liked and respected you. And I agree, he has the right to his opinion. But all these online atheists who hide behind a computer and hurl insults at someone just because of their belief in God get really old. I'd love to know how many people he has insulted to their face. I'm sure the answer is zero because these types of cowards never have a pair big enough to do that.

But whatever. I miss what this community used to be.
