  1. 72. Because students should feel safe going to class... ...HOWEVER...
  2. 71. The phrase "The Bible interprets itself" is an extreme abbreviation of a complex idea.
  3. He said he was a stand up comedian back in tha day.
  4. Who reads the Bible? Does the Bible read itself so that it may interpret itself?
  5. Who uses the so called "keys" so that the Bible can interpret itself? Does the Bible itself use those keys for self interpretation?
  6. Ooooohhhhh. You answered the question? It’s a throw away line? So, you don’t believe he was a weirdo? You just asserted that claim to mark those who are not serious about pocket change just to throw it away later? I thought it was an argument in defense of victor’s defecating in the mouth of God. You made a list of Biblical MOGs and their flaws. You inserted victor in this company to excuse his poor leadership and deception. BUT, it was just a throw away line? Ok. Hey, I didn’t write the book! You said it, that settles it, I believe it. (Cancel my order for that music coordinator.)
  7. Does anyone here know why Mike asserted the claim that John the Baptizer was a weirdo? Is there a music coordinator in the house? I'll even settle for a trusty A/V guy. I just want answers the question about Mike's asserted claim. Answers I won't have to backup on. Answers that can weather a snow storm. Lo Shonta?
  8. Perfect, circular, logical proof of 19 crucified denied thrice with snow and gloves side to side, not side down, even when inventing your own private definitions of canon: abababababa BOOM!!! Isn't that wonderful! Lo shonta..... mmmmmph
  9. “Kindly let me help you or you will drown,” said the monkey putting the fish safely up a tree. “Boy, oh, boy,” said the monkey structuring his proof with cdcdcdcdc.
  10. Thanks for this post, Waysider. Spot on! Can you provide anymore details to flesh out this record?Just curious.
  11. Heiser is a trip! He dives deep, geeks out, and makes some very compelling arguments. Way more meat than the buckets of bull$dang coming out of victor’s AC and collaterals. Reading widely, exposing oneself to a range of ideas, questioning everything, is how (H-O-W) to learn. Ultimately, we must make up our own minds. No one else can do it for us.
  12. Since Bruce Metzger is referenced in this this thread, it seems appropriate to post this video here. Recordings of his lectures are rare - I've only heard one other. I think many here will find this edifying and informative. Though Metzger is a serious scholar, it's clear from his voice that he's a devout believer, but he's not preaching - there are no histrionics. The lecture is from 1989. Fascinating.
  13. Really?! Wow. This is rare. Very difficult to obtain. I’d love to hear about it sometime. To keep it on topic, Victor made a reference to LSD in one of the ACs. Something about seeing pink elephants, which is pure bull$hit. Just one of the many thousands of subjects he knew absolutely NOTHING about, yet insisted on asserting claims of fact.
  14. I'm so sorry you ever bought into this serpent seed bull$hit. Child of the devil bull$hit.... oh... wait... did you ever see The Omen? Never mind, they made a movie. It must be true. I thought the unforgivable sin was blaspheming the Holy Spirit - attributing divine power to the devil or vice versa? Or something like that. Isn't there a story in Matthew about it? I can't remember. Guess I need to renew my mind. If only victor could have believed big enough to live long enough....snow and gloves...
