Pistis Christou can be either an objective genitive (Faith in Christ) or a subjective genitive (Faith of Christ). I presume the decision is theological. I don't have a position on this, but I know it's debated among theologians. I remember being taught with great force, anger, and frustration by my TWI teacher that faith is something we have and believing is something we do, but I don't remember how pistis Christou was handled. And then there's believing faith. MOREOVER, believing is part of the equation that defines the word of God. It seemed like pistis could mean whatever whenever, according to the size of the glove and the amount of snow. Though there are other verses, these two seem especially important: Galatians 2:15-16 and Romans 3:21-26. Three questions: How do you handle the objective/subjective genitive? Asset or Liability? Lo Shonta?

Like Mike's logic. Except that it is. Mike started it. He was warned against defecating in the mouth of God.

Those pennies are the power. You heard the man. Eight figgers a year! It's so simple. It makes perfect sense. Did you notice the golf glove? Notice how perfectly it fits his hand? Just a tremendous fitting. A real dandy. "One at a time, of course!" Lo shonta!

No apologies necessary, dear Twinky. The bull$hit is so profuse, it's impossible to keep it straight.
-
The secret weapon is where (W-H-E-R-E) you keep those two cents. Go to the other New Testament Canon thread to find out. It's self-analyzing, perfect logic. Kinda like perfect prayer. Lo shonta!

It's not a re-analysis. It's merely a straightforward analysis. Bullinger's creativity requires lots of assumptions (postulates) and glove-fitting. An honest reading doesn't require a lot of assumptions to MAKE anything fit. This will be handled in another thread.

Mike's secret weapon for success. You might need to watch this over and over to fully absorb it. This is the how (H-O-W) to walk by the spurt. High level Mikaean logic here. If you can't see how this secret weapon for success makes perfect sense and fits a hand like a glove, I just don't know what else to do for you. Bless your little hearts.

Bingo. There's a difference between what we like and what we know to be great. The aficionado or connoisseur is aware of that distinction. I may not care for hip hop, it just may not be my thing, but I can recognize and appreciate the greatness of Dr. Dre, TuPac, JayZ. Don't get me started on coffee. Or do. Starbucks is over roasted. It's burnt. I happen to not like it AND recognize that it's not good. But I know that not liking it has nothing to do with my judgement that it's not good. In the Pacific Northwest, that's just how they like their coffee, and I can recognize that, too. The movie is Bottle Rocket, but I doubt that will help you with the song, unless you've watched it many times.

Ahhh. But were those the GREATEST? Of course, my assertion is bull$hit because it's subjective. Though, I do think the 90's were as important as the 70's for American cinema, but that's a discussion I'd be happy to have on another thread, Neophyte filmmakers is your clue. Their first film. Before they were star actors/writers/directors. Indie film. Cult classic now. James Caan would have been the only recognizable star at the release of the film, 1996. The song is from a certain invasion in the 1960s.

I selected this one just for you, Human. It should seem vaguely familiar to you. I'm sure you have heard it before.
-
Hmmm...the 90's... it was used in one of the top ten greatest films of the 90's, but it was not published on the soundtrack album, probably because the neophyte filmmakers couldn't afford the rights. Definitely not written or recorded in the 90's.

Mostly this. This is the organic machinery of canonization. The writers of scripture themselves didn't say, "among all the scriptures, ours and ours alone." It was an organic process (not even the right word) over time among men like Walter and victor. Holy Men of God making sure that that the right holy books and letters of God were vouchsafed.

Ok. Got it. I conflated the two games The artist is Crosby, Stills & Nash. This was pre- Neil Young joining, right? Well, my name is a number A piece of plastic film And I'm growin' funny flowers In my little window sill

The books and letters that were agreed upon in the late 4th century and afterward were scriptures read in home fellowships and churches since the first century. It was based on religious tradition that originated with Paul. The Biblical canon didn't just fall out of the sky one day in the fifth century. But other gospels and apocalypses were valued and read in fellowships where they spoke in the most natural, authentic tongues of angels, not counterfeit lo shontas. These books you may not know about, because the powers that be don't want you to know about them. Maybe for good reason. Or, maybe because the devil wants them hidden because of their power. Maybe because the war god of Abraham said these 66 and no more. Maybe because men of God thought that they knew that they knew that they knew. Did you read the Metzger article? It's NOT in conflict at the root level of your proposition- that men of God, inspired by God, lead by hs, worked to ensure the holiest of holy books were preserved and canonized, and all others were burned buried.

Nope. Arbitrary. It's how it's copied and pasted. Could be any size. Doesn't mean anything at all. No secrets. No codes. A coin flip. Just accurate, relevant definitions of CANON that everyone should understand when posting on this topic.
