  1. Now that would call for a new concept, called honesty.
  2. Of which the worst I have ran across are the Saviors of PFAL and protectors of the reputation of their beloved Father in the Word. They form judgements not based on your heart and life but that imagined fruit known as how many have you put through the class. One group runs about and if the thoughts are pure enough concerning VP and his infallible words, they ordain and separate families accordingly to that standard. What is really sickening is they never turn the spotlight on themselves and define their own lives even according to what they teach! I have seen families where one wanted to do no more than to live their life before God in all honesty and get their acts together while the other was stuck in the proverbial move the word mode and not deal with anything real. Separation and divorce follows while the false ministers applaud how the second put their god first.Volumes of scripture concerning commitment and the proper arrangement of life and relationships are tossed to the side, because the latter chooses to continue with blinders and put people through a completely outdated series. What have you done for God lately? OMG, I hate that question coming from someone whose life is in shambles and they are so convinced they are doing all the right things because they fulfill the ten commandments of their Father in the Word and they tithe and ABS to false ministers, speak the words of PFAL and get their sexual needs meet(just not with married women) and on and on. They turn the guilt on you because you actually believe the testimonies of the raped and molested. With their mouths they do worship Him, but their hearts are far from Him because "he that taught them the word" is more important than the Word of Life to them. Anyway that's what I see here in this initial post, not lingering Way brain in self, but dealing with the hard hearted hurtful legalistic attitudes of those you thought you knew and loved who have allowed themselves to be sucked back into and beyond the shameful mentality we all avoid like the plague.

  9. It had to be a money grabbing plot, not that it would take several hours if not a couple days to shut down a huge refinery
  10. I am many miles from ever seeing a hurricane, but interesting that when I went grocery shopping today the usual stock of shelves seemed lacking. Fresh meat and bread were in pathetic supplies. While I raised a family I always had a couple weeks food on hand, last couple of years I often have to stop at the store to get enough to cook supper. So watching Katrina and the announcement of becoming a grandpa had me thinking how stupid it is to not be ready for a few days without normal easy access to things we take for granted. I have all the camping equipment, just decided to stock up on canned goods, maybe some instant coffee and plenty of stuff to make such a time better for myself and maybe a few friends.
  11. In the aftermath of Katrina and watching it for hours, anyone else finding their grocery carts being filled with more can goods and starting to fill their pantries?
  12. My bad! I thought since the last comment post it would be safe to point out that I knew of a case personally that didn't fit the black&white box being used against Mo. Some very good people have some very dark pasts and have paid more than we will ever know because we have not lived through what they have.To pass judgment on them makes me wonder how full of hurt and hate the judges really are.
  13. Its sickening to read someone that thinks they are an authority on a subject they have no knowledge of. Boom towns do not operate in the same way as the rest of America. Their justice can be very perverted and money talks and bull**** walks. In the 60's I grew up in a boom town economy, my older cousin was going through a divorce from an abusive husband that molested his daughter and beat his son bloody. By the time my cousin separated she was convinced she was useless as a human and worse as a mother. Charges were brought against her as her husband and his friends lied and swore to the DA that she was guilty of numerous crimes. The only thing that saved her from giving up her children was an extended family, She signed them over to my parents for 2 years. While we had them I remember Grandfather and uncles visiting and staying almost constantly with loaded shotguns to keep the father away. During those 2 years her parents and my Aunts and Uncles donated all they could for lawyers and helped her fight when she was unable to fight. Also my cousin went back to school and got her business degree during this period and spent every free minute she had with her children. Charges were dropped against her, husband went to prison for a short time. She built a decent life after that and married money, her son never recovered and is a jail bird. But, had it not been for all the help my parents, her parents and all the uncles and aunts and my grandfather; she would have been forced to give them up. She told me the whole story many years later, the DA considered any woman that lived with such a man as guilty, any woman that would divorce a man as trash. The DA more than once tried to get in her skirt to work a deal, and forget the judge; he arranged motels to meet her in. All her family fought like hell and the DA didn't run again and the judge went into private practice. Nothing could ever stand up in court against them. But, what ended this all was a family that stood beside her through this all and convinced her she wasn't what everyone said she was.

    Another one

A friend told me about this one: A 31 year old man posed as a teen for quite some time and its reported he molested both boys and girls, some up to 100 times. Any bets how soon he will be back on the streets?
  15. My friends call me wingie, least they did before my java screwed up and I could chat Wing is fine :D-->
  16. Gee Bliss, we all know which side the lawyers were on when Jesus walked the earth!
  17. And the ole VP use to teach that temptation is now between what is good and what is best for his kids after they graduated from his class. It is good they have lightened up on the surface, but best would include contacting all the innocent they accused and ran out of Zion on a rail. Its good they are not so controlling, but best would be to put as much if not more effort into putting families back together they ripped apart. Is it best that many of the same leaders that climbed to the top kicking and scratching and ripping the lives of others are still in positions of responsibility? What has changed is delivery and not the message! Rather than screaming and spitting you are evil, its delivered with a sickening sweet southern accent. " I am sowwwwwy you are evil!"
  18. Actually TWI are the ones that need to fear! When ever anyone leaves they have to exercise damage control to try to keep the flood gates from opening and they have to deal with another exodus. TWI has no control and are no threat. But being they also are down right evil they will separate friends and family. Not because they care, but because they must protect that most sacred ABS coming in!
  19. Control, control, CONTROL! Who will control your leaving? Will it be you or will it be them? That is why it is important to choose wisely grasshopper :D--> Heard of the WGB? They are staffers of rank that lurk here and read. More than likely all posts are printed and they will research them for any clue as to who you are. Don't worry; you are safe as long as you leave no hints as to who and where you are. Once you start telling people you are leaving, the clock will be running. Never know which will call leaders and spill the beans. If leadership is told first, they may be on the phone calling all that know you and warning. Some where around this place is a How to leave article, maybe read that. But; stay in control and once you've decided when to leave have a plan in place to move swiftly.
