  1. VPW was MOG, he was founder and president, he was the father figure and father in the word unchallenged. With his death LCM was president but was a president among piers or equals. The reins of the TWI dynasty were for the first time reachable and that is when the code of silence was finally broken concerning VPW and his evil deeds, for selfish self promotion of a few. Why else would they have all drank the same cup and participated in the secret doctrine while he lived THEN go public? This with the coming of the internet and the brilliant use of the net by Paul A. Is what opened the door. Had those many not been greedy, the door would have never opened.
  2. 28.68 best I could get in about 8 tries.
  3. I am the worse of the worse of G'sers! Even known to forget to reply to PTs
  4. By all means call the police, the churches should have the vehicles and volunteers registered. They just don't usually up and decide they will do this service, they usually check with local law enforcement and work with them. It is a great help to kids and I have seen it work wonders in small towns. Children left to roam the streets as their drugged up and/or drunk parent sleeps off another one on another Sunday morning coming down get some much needed attention and guidance.
  5. Mad? You mean ticked off, or slap the perp or freakin wring their necks or blow them away? Then there is hate, which I don't think is a fluctuating state or emotion. Its deep, to the bone type thing. I can love someone and get mad at them, I can't love and hate the same person no matter how much Hollywood tries to sell the love/hate relationship. But what I find I am doing more and more is just not caring. A person's track record shows they aren't worth the stress it takes or the higher blood pressure from getting mad. Hate someone and watch for them to get what they deserve, not caring you just don't care and aren't surprised when their karma, what they sowed; whatever you want to call it catches up with them. I think my Dad was right when he use to tell me, maturity will replace all that anger someday.
  6. Gawd get it right, they ain't no cowboys, they were sheep herders in the chick flick. They don't have a reputation to live up to, after all it their motto is "ain't all baaaaaaad" And for the record sheep men solo, they might see another human once a month for supplies and that is about it. They are almost always old hermit types that require a case of whiskey with their food supplies. Nothing like what the previews show and the adultry parts don't bother anyone?

    Marriage

Having once been blind-sided by a divorce I should have seen coming and only able to speak concerning that and "that" woman, I am reminded of the words of wisdom my dear Mother spoke afterwards. " You didn't see it coming because she kept so many things hidden from you". I was then shocked even more to think even my own Mother knew about "her" boyfriends while I was so in the dark. The woman I "thought" I was married to was a fantasy while the woman I was married to was worthy of numerous descriptive words that would get this post edited by lurking moderators. It was an extremely abusive relationship in the end, even then I cried out to work out this relationship. You see that its always the man's fault for the failure of the relationship. See had you paid more attention, see had you been more thoughtful, see had you stayed awake 25 hours a day to take care of the money and the bride. It always gets pointed to the man and we like fools swallow the whole bit, we buy into it that surely its because had we been better we would still be married. So the failed relationship falls squarely on the man's shoulders while in reality it is the real lack of quality in the woman we married. But as in any abusive relationship it is always the victims fault. Like the battered women always feel its their fault he beat her, the man always is convinced by the woman its all his fault she left him. Eventually the facade wears away and the X takes the rightful place they have earned, that distant person once married to that reaches out for donations from time to time. Then things like "her" leaving boyfriend that became husband number two to marry one of the many new boyfriends to make him husband number 3. Yes it was all my fault!
  8. Do we REALLY have to be good while your gone?
  9. Really sick world we live in :( http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england...rts/4599524.stm Babysitters jailed for baby rape Two babysitters have been jailed for raping a 12-week-old baby girl and taking pictures of the abuse.
  10. Hiya djs, welcome to the cafe! I have to disagree with your statement that they left, leaving shows free will and many of the most talented were ran off. LCM made sure to rid TWI of any competition. LCM stripped me and many others of our accomplishments from years of service, if we return would those be restored? Do we still need to follow LCM's mandates and contact the last leader we had and follow their instructions proving we aren't weak and will not weaken the household? Are they openly in their teachings and on their web site proclaiming all are always welcome at the Way?
  11. Politics? yes About the Way? sure So I'll try putting this here. http://www.adnki.com/index_2Level.php?cat=...246551760&par=0# TWI and Tehran agree, why am I not shocked?

    Monty Python

A few years ago HBO (I think) was showing a reunion of the major Python players, Graham Chapman died in 89 so they had an urn that contained his ashes with his face taped on it. They sat behind a coffee table "Graham" was centered on and reminisced about their Flying Circus days. The end of the show was better than classic Python And I do have a T-Shirt that reads: "I fart in your general direction"

    Thanksgiving

Ash-Trays and tobacco will be missing from our festivities tomorrow! Our first smokeless holiday for the whole family in this lifetime! Happy Thanksgiving to all, man everything is tasting better
  21. A big selling point for TWI back in the 60's and 70's was the claim to not being a church, or a religion. Oldies has done a fine job pointing out that TWI in many aspects has become what they always claimed they weren't. So TWI has become a denomination without the safe guards most organized religions have in place to protect their members and their donations. One more reason among many to find someplace else to place loyalties. That is unless one likes the Kool-Aide
