Hi Karmic, I wonder if we were ever in the same twig/l.e.a.d.group/work assignment, etc. Have you been out long?

Hi there Lindy junior, My hubs and I were F11, and our son was age 4 through 6 while we were there the fall of '84 through the summer of '86. How old were you while you were there, and did you have any siblings then? Aren't you glad we're the heck out of that mess?
  3. Well Hawk, I made brief contact but her home computer had a virus and I haven't heard back since our initial contact. I expect to hear from her as soon as her computer is well.
  4. Shel, nope but thanks. Kat, yes that's them. Used to be L.E.A.D. staff in the 80's, and yes one of their sisters was Mary and her husband Pat. I knew them from my early Colorado days and have only good memories of all of them. I hope they are all out and well. The last time I saw Donnie and Kevin was at LEAD. Any details on how they are?
  5. Thank you Rev.TT,:D-->, thank you Dorothy, thank you Rhoda.
  6. Anyone know what happened to them? I knew Donnie and Colin back in the day when we all thought "the ministry" was a good thing. A long, long time ago.
  7. That's it Simon! That's what I miss and that's why I lurk here...just make me laugh, damit! Lots of the other booths at this cafe are arguing about spurtchul matters and elections and such. Not you 9th corpse, you guys got it goin' on! Thanks for the :)-->, now continue with more farm stories... Tonto did the dirty work for free...

  9. Thanks Alka & Learning, I think I might have private topic'd successfully last night, but hopefully I'll find out today. I'm not the most computer-savvy puppy, as is probably obvious. ;)-->
  10. Thanks Buff, but I'm not quite ready to share that fully yet. :)--> Tonto did the dirty work for free...

  12. Any of you folks out there? Seems that previous attempts were archived, so I'm not sure if this is the best way to go about it, but here goes...Hello? Tonto did the dirty work for free...
  13. One of my jobs while in rez in Rome City was receptionist. One night very late I received a call from an irate woman looking for LCM, asking where that "effin cowboy" was. She was extremely upset and was looking for him because she said he had been f%#*&@# her daughter. I was stunned. He had been there visiting Indiana for something...don't remember why...but I hung up on her. She didn't give up, kept calling, and I put her on hold forever. I know I contacted my job supervisor but I really don't remember how I was told to handle it. I remember thinking that it was some kind of "attack from the adversary", yet it also really bugged me because I didn't think somebody would just make this up out of the clear blue. If I knew then what I know now, and have known for the past umpteen years, I would have transferred the damn call to him and let the scumbucket get an earful.
  14. I was living in Colorado when they acquired the Gunnison property. We made many long drives there... some to work on the place and some to attend various meetings. I remember Der Fodder telling about plans to build a restaraunt over the river with a glass-type floor for river viewing, and some building to be constructed along the side of the mountain with a big elevator...also if anyone wanted to build their very own cabin there they could, as long as they let "the ministry" use it most of the time...like 50 or so weeks of the year. I loved the beauty of the river and mountains and stars. My hubs and I renewed our vows there in some mass couples weekend-thingy, and that was nice (still married over 27 years later). I also remember grudgingly chipping in for some damned rhinestone-type cowboy suit that the LC decided we should present to VeePee when he graced us with a visit. Like most things Way, I have mixed feelings. Tonto did the dirty work for free...

  16. Oh Simon Simon Simon. We couldn't go to hell even if we wanted to. Why? Because we're heaven bound and all hell can't stop us from going. Besides, Ex has been to hell and back.. how many times? Twice. If you'll read carefully, the text says "hell&BACK", emphasis on BACK. Strange one, I will eagerly vac as long as it is with a Kirby, the official vacuume of the Stalag Way. How's about I bring some string cheese and we can string the chairs then partake of the string as refreshment? I must now take a vow of silence. I sense I am preventing greatness from being spoken by Zorro and Rev.TT. And mother Ex, I am not of your corpse, but of another. I am humbly...your visiting leaf. Tonto did the dirty work for free...
