  1. I hope your kitty gets better.

After my cat was sick, I swiched from purina cat chow to premimum cat foods. Currently, he is eating IAMS (less active) cat food.

Some of the "fillers" in other cat foods, helped contribute to my cat getting sick.

Premimum cat foods cost more...Bu, it is cheeper than vet bills and it beats haveing a sick kitty!!

I think it is a good idea to talk to your vet about what to feed your pet.

  2. I have a white domestic short hair cat.

I got him in 1994, he weighs 30 pounds.

    His name is Aquila.

A few years ago Aquila was VERY sick!!! he had liver and kidney problems. lost about 10 pounds. The Vet wasn't optomistic... This was one of the saddest times in my life. I even had a prayer request on EPH320.com for him.

He recovered, and found those 10 pounds again...

I believe that God healed my cat.

I am very thankful to have a cat that loves me as much as he does.

  3. Sudo,

Thank you for providing those links.

On the issue of health I don't have a problem with floride in drinking water.

I am looking at this issue from the dollar end of it.

Also, Since you mentioned adult dental patients...

I think it would be a good idea if better dental insurance was more readily available.

I think (Sudo, you would know better than me), two of the main reasons why adults don't see a dentist on a regular basis is:

    1. Fear (due to painfull experiences)

    2. Money

I think I could get better and cheaper dental care if I were on welfare

    Thanks

  4. Sudo,

I looked at the sites you provided. Thank you.

One thing I did not see is a cost benefit ratio analyses.

    For example:

    1. The start up costs to add fluoride to the water.

    2. The annual cost of adding fluoride to the dater.

    3. What percentage of the water would actually be used for drinking as opposed to cleaning, watering lawns etc?

And, why can?t bottled waters company?s have a with and a with out product thereby giving the consuming public a choice? This choice would not increase state and local taxes.

(A small disclaimer? I am a budget analyst)

  5. From what I have read here, I am inclined to think he is a jerk (if not worse).

Splintee might be his own idiot etc...

I don't think it would be fair to claim that all those that are associated with the same larger group are of the same mentality as splintee...

I will concide that there could very well be rev splinter cloans out there...

    But, so far...

All the people I have met that are with CFF have been good people.

I have not been to any of their fellowships or meetings therefore, I have no direct knowledge of there policy's, practices, etc...

    BEER

"MORE BEER" Chicken Soup for the Beer Drinkers

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."

    -- Jack Handy

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.

    --Frank Sinatra

An intelligent man is sometimes forced to be drunk to spend time with his fools.

    --Ernest Hemingway

A woman drove me to drink and I didn't even have the decency to

    Thank her.

    --W.C. Fields

When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

    -Henny Youngman

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not!

    --Stephen Wright

When we drink, we get drunk. When we get drunk, we fall asleep.

When we fall asleep, we commit no sin. When we commit no sin, we go to

heaven. Sooooo, let's all get drunk and go to heaven!

    -- Brian O'Rourke

Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.

    --Benjamin Franklin

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind

Is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

    --Dave Barry

  6. I agree with Zixar's last post.

I have had the pleasure of meeting RG. If he passes this way again I would enjoy hanging out with him some more.

To comdemn or reccommend any group based on the actions of a few make as much sence as raceism .

I am not part of CFF.

I have enjoyed meeting a few people who are associated with CFF.

I believe that there are both good and bad people in any group of people.

It is not wise to be hap hazard with words such as "all" or "none".

It is easier to make general statements than to speak specifically or to only speak of thing that you have direct knowledge of.

  7. Shyness Test

A very shy young man goes into a bar, sees a beautiful woman sitting alone.

After an hour of gathering his courage he approaches her and asks, "Mind if I

    sit with you and chat?"

The woman looks up at him and screams, "No, I won't sleep with you

    tonight!!!"

Everyone in the crowded room turns and stares at the hapless fellow and the

woman. The young man is hopelessly embarrassed as he slinks back to his seat.

After a few minutes the woman gets up and approaches the still red faced

    fellow.

She smiles, "Sorry I exploded like that but I'm a graduate student in

psychology and I'm doing research. I'm studying people's response to

    embarrassing situations."

The young man nods and shouts, "Whattaya mean 200 dollars!!!" >>

  8. On my vacations...

    I do what I want!

I have stayed home and done home improvements.

I also enjoy traveling. One of my favorite place to go are the National Parks. Since I live in Arizona, I enjoy going to the Grand Canyon. It is a 8 hour drive (give or take) from my house.

In Flaggstaff there is an Armed Forces Recreactional Center (AFRS) that can be used by those who are serving in the military or retired military. The rates there are very good , and it is an hour's drive from the Canyon entrance.

  9. Sorry to hear you ar leaving Arizona

I hope you and your family find happiness and success back east

You will miss Arizona come Winter time!!!

  10. I was a wow with her 82-83 in Bossier City LA.

I saw her in a chat room when eph320.com had a chat room... (this was a few years ago)

She is married, 2 kids and living in WI.

I hope that she is doing well and is happy.

I would enjoy hearing from her again also.

  11. Remember the episode where they had the beauty contest...

as they were "training" the prof. had Mary Ann swim in the lagoon and he had a fishing line attached to the swimsuit...

Then the swim suit was "reeled off"...

Ahhhh, my favorite episide could have been sooo much better!!!
