  1. I've had nothing but bad luckSince the day I saw the cat at my doorSo I came into you sweet ladyAnswering your mystical callCrystal ball on the tableShowing the future, the pastSame cat with them evil eyesAnd I knew it was a spell she cast
  2. I saw this two days ago but I didn't have time to post. I did think enough however, to throw Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd in the car on my out to see my tax man. The songs' Have A Cigar. Personally, its my favorite PF album. The sounds from the instrumentals give me chills every time I hear them.
  3. You got it right WordWolf. Marrakesh Express was released in May of 1969 and was the first album by Crosby, Stills, and Nash. The song was written by Graham Nash while he was in The Hollies, but they (Hollies) felt the song was not commercial enough, so they passed on it. Neil Young had not gotten together with CSN until the second night of Woodstock and didn't play in their first set which was acoustical on the first night. The following day (night, 3:00am) Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young played an electric set.
  4. Sorry, but technically, that's not the title. And sorry, but technically, that's not the group George. I'll take one out of the two correctly to win the round.
  5. Let's see if I can get your wheels spinning in the right direction. This song was first played live by a Super Group at the Woodstock Music festival. The Super Group has played it over 450 times `live' so says the Wiki source. So now you know the era and with a little guess work you can minimize it down to a few groups.
  6. Let's try another one instead. Looking at the world through the sunset in your eyesTraveling the train through clear Moroccan skiesDucks and pigs and chickens callAnimal carpet wall to wallAmerican ladies five-foot tall in blueSweeping cobwebs from the edges of my mindHad to get away to see what we could findHope the days that lie aheadBring us back to where they've ledListen not to what's been said to you
  7. Sure WordWolf whatever you want. I first discovered Jason Clarke ( Australian actor) from a movie with Jessica Chastain in Zero Dark Thirty. The search and capture movie about Osama Bin Ladin. And another was a movie about the true story of the worst climbing disaster in history on the mountain Everest. Josh Brolin was in it too. And in his latest movie he played an astronaut in First Man.
  8. Shocking. After 22 minutes I'm still logged in.
  9. That's why I posted his name? I didn't think you did.
  10. WordWolf I'm afraid you might have to look this one up again. Sorry about that. George I don't know if you're familiar with it either. You know I need your love, you got that hold over meLong as I got your love, you know that I'll never leaveWhen I wanted you to share my life, I had no doubt in my mindAnd it's been you, woman, I just wanna say this is my wayOf telling you everything I could never say beforeYeah, this is my wayOf telling you that every day I'm loving you so much more
  11. No big deal. I didn't know what the artist's name was until I posted the song. I did however, listen to Thunder Island by Jay Ferguson a few hundred times over the radio, walking through the malls, or the local Safeway. Clearly not a very successful artist (We've never heard of him until now) although the album of the same name was a commercial success. Give me a few and post another one.
  12. I had to *check your facts* WordWolf. I didn't think Bridget Moynihan actually played in John Wick but your right. She appeared in a flash back as John Wicks wife. Incidentally George it's The Goonies, not Goonies. Josh Brolin Everest Jason Clarke Is this font to big?
  13. So what are saying WordWolf, you didn't want to wait for any more clues so you just *looked it up*? I think it was a late-seventies tune (1978) so if you were listening to Top 40's you would have heard of it. This tune peaked at number 9 on billboard Hot 100.
  14. Another tune? Sha la la la la la my ladyIn the sun with your hair undoneCan you hear me now callingYour name from across the bayA summer's day laughing and a-hidingChasing love....... Hey Hey Hey Hey
  15. I like this actor. I guess because I like the movies he's in. Lyman is the role he played in K-9. I used a television role figuring that he might be more recognized that way, specifically his role in Emergency as Paramedic Roy Sesoto. Tilghman has a very similar reference to his real name Kevin Tighe from his character in Road House. He played Blake Wilson in 48 Hours. My Bloody Valentine his character was Ben Foley. FREE POST
  16. Alan Rickman Sense and Sensibility Hugh Laurie
  17. Had a very good Christmas. Thank you. Would say Children of Men because that ended with 2 characters in a boat, but Jack La Lanne wasn't it that. He was not alive either.
  18. This has to be my worst use of English grammar. Or is that your quote WordWolf? Let me check* Christmas Shoes Dorian Harewood Sudden Death
