  1. I guess its me. Random trivia questions. I'm leaving 5 that shouldn't be too tough, but I'd like whoever takes the round to answer 4 correctly. At what age did Abraham Lincoln die? Which artist sang the theme song to the TV show Monk? Who is the song by Crosby, Stills, & Nash "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" written about? In which year did the alternative rock band ~The Killers~ form? Which sitting U.S. president was the earliest to be photographed? There is no evidence because the photograph is lost to history. But the evidence of the first sitting president will be counted as correct also.
  2. Well, she was standing by the highway In her boots and silver spurs Gonna hitchhike to the yellow moon When a Cadillac stopped for her And she said, "Hey, nice to meet you, are you goin' my way?" Yeah, that's when it happened The world caught fire that day Moonlight on the interstate She was 'cross the Georgia line Looked out the window feeling great Yeah, it had to come in time And she said I'm never goin' back She said at last I'm free I wish ma could see me now, she'd be so proud of me We went down ........ Like Benny Goodman
  3. So, I am going to put up something that was from an album that reached the top 10 on the Billboard 200 from 1999. The song reached #17 on the Billboard's Rock tracks. The artist, in my opinion, has never been fully embraced by mainstream media as far his entire catalog is concerned. Known for their many hits and at least two Greatest Hits albums to their credit, most of this bands music hasn't featured that much on national mainstream radio. Their hits have and are only played on the radio, but not so much their multi-layered music catalog. So, I'm putting this song up to see if it gets any bites, but if it doesn't I won't keep it up for very long. Well, she was standing by the highway In her boots and silver spurs Gonna hitchhike to the yellow moon When a Cadillac stopped for her And she said, "Hey, nice to meet you, are you goin' my way?" Yeah, that's when it happened The world caught fire that day

  6. I just figured somebody would have an idea by now. Here's some more. This is the age of machinery A mechanical nightmare The wonderful world of technology Napalm, hydrogen bombs, biological warfare My mama said she can't understand me She can't see my motivation Just give me some security I'm a paranoid schizoid product ................ You keep all your smart modern writers Give me William Shakespeare You keep all your smart modern painters I'll take Rembrandt, Titian, Da Vinci and Gainsborough Girl we gotta get out of here We gotta find a solution .................................but I don't want, I don't want to die here Girl, we gotta get out of here We gotta find a solution .................................. but I don't want, I don't want to be here I was born in a welfare state Ruled by bureaucracy Controlled by civil servants And people dressed in grey Got no privacy, got no liberty Don't want to get myself shot down By some trigger happy policeman Gotta keep a hold on my sanity ................................ but I don't want to die here
  7. Let's see that's not "Yesterday" or "Tomorrow Never Comes". I don't know. I might need some "Help" with this one? I have an original movie cardboard cut out from the movie "Help". It sits on a flat service, like you would see in the movie theatres, you know, the one where the Boys are dressed in black and each placing they're hands out in different directions over the words H E L P.

  13. I'm not sure about the title but I know it's a ~Genesis~ song. Physical Attraction?
  14. We're really going back to the Silver age of Hollywood, pun intended.
  15. Okay then, you're staying with the same group I see. "Day after Day" is not the title but that's all I can come up with.
  16. You may want to re-think this one WordHusky. With the exception of the word 'now', those lyrics give away the title of the song. Take Paul McCartney's song "Yesterday". If I were to post the first words in the song they would be "Yesterday, all my troubles were so far away". But here, you can't leave the title in the lyrics.
