  1. Yes Gorillaz are in a category of their own. Eventually radio stations get around to playin' "alternative" because it's better than any of the stuff out there now, unless it's certifiable classic. I woke up this mornin', BabyI had you on my mindI felt so much love this mornin'Little girl, little girl, you feel so fineYou know I need youYou know that I love you
  2. Twenty, twenty, twenty four hours ago......... my internet radio station just played "I Want To Be Sedated". Until now I couldn't remember the chorus. I still listen to some alternate stuff here and there, but I must admit I'm more of a mainstream music enthusiast. Give me Cake, Weezer, Gorillaz, Talking Heads. Ramones too.
  3. No. That's the part that's vague. It sort of bleeds there into the Blitzkrieg Pop.
  4. I know this song but not sure of it's title. I think it's The Clash or Ramones.
  5. Legally Blonde Reese Witherspoon This Means War
  6. Think E L O. Now look up (in the daytime) and what do you see?
  7. Think "RECENT inductees into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame.
  8. Would you like to use your 50/50%? No, yes he was a colonel. Colonel Walter E Kurtz. Your go George.
  9. If you know the movie but not the name of the character how about a rank? I thought that we had agreed that knowing the name of the actor was acceptable if we didn't have any other choice?
  10. No one doesn't know who Robert Deniro is. His character's name was Travis Bickle. Next..... "Oh the horror! The horror"!
  11. Yeah, I know Candice Bergen was in it. Spartacus Tony Curtis The Great Race
  12. George, I wonder? Have you ever heard of Gandhi? I'm without a clue.
  13. Sun is shining in the sky there ain't a cloud in sight it's stopped raining, everybody's in the play And don't you know it's a beautiful new day, Hey, HeyRunning down the avenue, see how the sun shines brightly,In the city, on the streets where once was pity,
  14. This is one the most popularly quoted movie lines of all time. It started with Robert Deniro's character (don't know his name) from Taxi Driver when he began exhibiting his psychopathic behaviour in the mirror and talking to himself Since then, many hollywood actors, Pacino, Eastwood have used the "you talking to me" phrase in movie's. TV too. i.e. seinfeld
  15. This is Little Deuce Coup by The Beach Boys isn't it?
  16. I've been taking interest in checking it out. I think Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss is in this and I really like her acting. I am an Amazon prime member and maybe I can stream it.
  17. Me too. I'm just checkin' in, I've been here, I just haven't been playin'! Depending on the genre of music that you're into I think determines whether or not songs become hard to come up with. We're pretty much stuck with rock songs (because it's rock n' roll of course, and that is what we grew up with), but if someone's into "heavy metal, or country, or blues" it could mean a bunch of more songs that wouldn't be difficult for them because that's what they're into. Hey I'm into all kinds of music so if someone plays I'll attempt to fathom a guess.
