  1. Citizen Kane? Just a guess of a movie from the 40's.
  2. Alimony, alimony, paying your bills Come on, babe on the round about, ride on the merry-go-round, We all know what your name is, so you better lay your money down.
  3. Early one morning the sun was shining I was laying in bed Wond'ring if she'd changed at all If her hair was still red Her folks they said our lives together Sure was gonna be rough They never did like Mama's homemade dress Papa's bankbook wasn't big enough She lit a burner on the stove and offered me a pipe "I thought you'd never say hello" she said "You look like the silent type" Then she opened up a book of poems And handed it to me Written by an Italian poet From the fifteenth century And every one of them words rang true And glowed like burning coal Pouring off of every page Like it was written in my soul from me to you
  4. You missed that one huh, WordWolf. Pulp Fiction Harvey Keitel The Piano
  5. No kidding. I missed that. And I've been listening to Billy Joel lately. [guess I wasn't listening that close] Early one morning the sun was shining I was laying in bed Wond'ring if she'd changed at all If her hair was still red

  8. Lala you got me on my knees Lala I'm begging darling please With a purple umbrella and a 50 cent hat
  9. That would explain why it never made it into the show. Early scripts were written with a more temptuous gang of Cartrights in mind. Apparently, it was Loren Green who believed a land owner with so much land and so much power should be one who was revered and respected, not one who has a vigilante theme. Thus, the bravado bunch we see in the pilot were written out and the Cartrights as we know them came to be.
  10. Do you ever miss anything? Yes, that is Die Hard.
  11. You are correct sir. I tried looking up the bonanza theme song that Pa, Adam, and Hoss sang but I couldn't find it. Your up George.
  12. While Raf is away, we must play! Vintage movie. "Come out to the coast, we'll get together, have a few laughs..."
  13. These boots are made for walking In the cool of the evening when everything is getting kind of groovy
  14. George pulls a rabbit out of his hat. Well done.
  15. No, not My 3 sons. Though, the father figure in this series did act in some movies, largely, the actors in it each stayed for the most part in telivision.
  16. Then, that pretty much leaves me clueless. Since I don't have an ear for country either and mostly like rock too
  17. I may lead some of you ascue with these clues. Not intended, I assure you This telivision series never aired it's theme song with lyrics, only the instrumental. The leading actors actually sang the song with lyrics for the pilot, but it never aired. Oddly enough, they were all good singers and recorded music during their careers. The character (of the Dad) in this series was voted by TV guide as the # 2 greatest Dad in telivision of all time.
