  1. Okay, I'll put them together "lying on the bed, listen to the music playing in your heaheaheaddddd"
  2. This shouldn't be that baffling No it isn't. Lying on the bed was a hint.
  3. Solsbury Hill, yes, that's it. It was Peter Gabriel's debut single as a solo artist after leaving Genesis. In fact, the song is about leaving the band behind and carrying on by himself.
  4. Is this not a line that perhaps someone would remember the song from? If I were lying in bed listening to the music I would remember this one.
  5. Another one, not, Simon and Garfunkle To keep in silence I resigned My friends would think I was a nut Turning water into wine Open doors would soon be shut So I went from day to day Though my life was in a rut
  6. Here it is. First let's warm up with "At The Zoo" before Simon and Garfunkel sing "Baby Driver".
  7. "Listen to the music playing in your heaheaheaddddd'''''''"
  8. My daddy was the family bassman My mamma was an engineer And I was born one dark gray morn With music coming in my ears In my ears My daddy was a prominent frogman My mamma's in the Naval Reserve When I was young I carried a gun But I never got the chance to serve I did not serve And once upon a pair of wheels Hit the road and I’m gone What’s my number ? I wonder how your engines feel Ba ba ba ba Scoot down the road What’s my number? I wonder how your engines feel Shine the light
  9. I thought that was shoe in, but here is some more. My daddy was the family bassman My mamma was an engineer And I was born one dark gray morn With music coming in my ears In my ears My daddy was a prominent frogman My mamma's in the Naval Reserve When I was young I carried a gun But I never got the chance to serve I did not serve
  10. * Food for thought * Mostly for myself, however. I see in this thread a lot of movies that are comedies, completely off the wall, off the cuff, and slapstick kind of movies, and there's nothing wrong with that, but I don't often recognize them. ["I tend to go with the heavier guys"] quote from Leon: The Professional and that is why I don't often know them. I am mostly into more dramatic kinds of movies. It's not that I don't have a good sense of humor. I enjoy comedy films. I just don't go out of my way to watch many of them. However, this is a very well known line from " Porkys".
  11. Oh, Righteous Brothers. Got it. What's the name now? Something Melody? Unchained Melody
  12. My daddy was a prominent frogman My mamma's in the Naval Reserve When I was young I carried a gun But I never got the chance to serve I did not serve
  13. 737 coming out of the sky Won't you take me down to Memphis on a midnight ride
  14. This quote is "Money" ~Pink Floyd~. That obviously, I recognize. Some of those other lines are familiar too. I've never paid too much attention to the rest of those lyrics.
  15. This doesn't sound like a tune, more like a film line. Either way, I'm not sure if I know this.
  16. Didn't quite get it in my head at first, but while listening to "All You Need Is Love" it sprang into my head. "Taxman" I'll get something up pretty quick.
  17. "Touch of Grey" was the only top 20 hit for The Grateful Dead reaching number 15 on the billboard charts. I figured you would get this WordWolf. The first album I ever bought was The Grateful Dead's "Workingman's Dead".
  18. Not yet anyway, here's another clue for you George. Martin Balsam Michael York Lauren Bacall Ingrid Bergman Jacqueline Bisset John Gielgud Sean Connery
  19. I think all you need is a little more lyrics. It's a lesson to me, the eagles and the beggars and the seas The ABC's, we all must face try to keep a little grace It's a lesson to me, the deltas and the east and the freeze The ABC's, we all think of and try to win a little love I know the rent is in arrears the dog has not been fed in years It's even worse than it appears but it's alright Cows givin' kerosene, kid can't read at seventeen The words he knows are all obscene but it's alright
  20. The song would definitely be obscure to someone who hadn't heard it much before and since you weren't part of that generation WordWolf I get it. I just listened to it before I posted and I've definitely heard the song many times and even though I never knew the artist who sang it I know the song but I never paid attention to the lyrics. And that is why I never would have gotten this one. I'm a Baby Boomer. What can I say. I know most songs from the 60s' like the back of my hand. Let's see if you guys know this one. It's a lesson to me, the eagles and the beggars and the seas The ABC's, we all must face try to keep a little grace It's a lesson to me, the deltas and the east and the freeze The ABC's, we all think of and try to win a little love
  21. Right pew, but wrong church (whatever that means). Here's another clue. I'm sure you know this one George. Martin Balsam Michael York Lauren Bacall Ingrid Bergman Jacqueline Bisset
  22. Martin Balsam Michael York Lauren Bacall Ingrid Bergman
