I would love for everyone to get what they want for mothers day however "small" of a gift that it is. However I wish that all of these "special " days or holidays would not be so commercialized. It would be wonderful if everyone did something special just on awhim and not just on a certain day. How wonderful it feels to get a gift or surprise "just because". We do not do anything special for birthdays and it does not bother me a bit. I however am thrilled when on a whim I come home from work and someone else has made supper or cleaned the dishes that were in the sink when I left for work. These "little" things mean a lot mor to me than a happy moms day card or flowers. However I still get my mom something but I try to make it something that will last awhile or something that she truly needs. loving life and trying to help others love it too

I truly believe that there are MANY innies that want out but are waiting for one reason or another. I know that some are just waiting untill they graduate from college since they are not paying for their own education and there are others who are waiting untill there kids are out of school. IO plrobably know some of you innies that are posting but are just waiting for the " right " time. Just remember life is short. Enjoy it while you can. If you leave now it might be rough but you will survive. If you can survive all of those years "in" you will really excell once you get "out". There are many grat examples right here in NK. I know that it was not easy for some of them but they are doing wonderful now. I am sure that $$$ is an issue with many but where there is a will there is a way.(no pun intended) You can survive and there are many people here at the spot that are willing to give you support. This is truly a sweet post. I have tears now as I did when I read about Pete when he was going through his battle. It is a good thing that we can not choose our battles. He fought a great fight and taught many of us here how petty so many little things are compared to what he went through. God bless him and all those who were touched by his life. nknative

Just to get serious for a moment. I used to snore VERY LOUDLY. I now am on a sleep apnea machine. I have been for about 4 years or so. It is a pain but you get used to it. I would love to have teh surgery but INsurance......blah blah blah. If you are a big snorer or know someone who is it is worth having it checked out. My whole family sleeps better since I use my machine. (By the way I do not think that there is an option that fits the way I used to snore. I am worse than all of the above. ) nknative

Seth, Please DO NOT pick up smoking. It is an expensive unhealthy habit and it will not be helpful. I think that you are receiving excellent help and suggestions here at the spot. There are a lot of caring people here. Please take care of yourself. Keep praying. I am not a deep religious person but I know how very powerful prayer is and it works. Try to do at least one positive thing for someone other than yourself everyday and it will help you feel better. Please take care and keep us here at the greasy spoon updated. nk

I have revealed my true self to a few people but I have not actually ''said'' my name here on the internet. In the past I had kids in school here in New Knoxville but now they are graduates. There are many locals and outies that know who I am. A few have confronted me about some of my postings and I have not denied who I am. I have not revealed myself here because it just makes it easier for the waygb. By my not saying who I am they can not tell their children to stay away from mine or anything else bazaar. I know they know who I am. I chose nknative because that is exactly who I am and what I am. I have lived here my entire life and have no plans of leaving. I LOVE it here. I enjoy living my simple life and I enjoy being able to be near family (at least most of them) lol Some day I will say my real name but there are a few innies that I keep in touch with and I do not wish to make their lives any more complicated than they already are. Abigail, you should write a book. You have told your story so well. I hope that many that are lurking are following your story and that your story will help them see that life is better outside of the walls of twi. Hang in there and please continue to share.
