  1. I have eaten a lot of french fries in my life but I never use vinegar on them. I will try to be at the fair on the 3rd. Let's meet at the front gate at a specific time?

  2. About 10 years ago I had to got to Las Vegas on a business trip and David Copperfield was doing a show at Caesars Palace. I didn't think I had enough time to make it to the show from where I was staying but I decided to see if I could get in anyway.

When I got to the ticket window they said there was only one ticket left, but it was a good seat. Yea I thought, last ticket is never the best. I was escorted to the middle of the theater and sat down at a table that didn't seem too great to me but I was happy with it for $100.00.

During one of his disappearing acts he and his assistant vanished from the stage and re-appeared right next to me. Blew me away. He then took out a deck of cards and did a few tricks for me at my table. The girl that sat next to me was part of his act and I could see her handing items to him (as if from nowhere). Yep, It was the best seat in the house. Absolutely loved the show.

Come on over and I will show you the video I have of the KKK activities in Maine against the French Americans.

I think I would check with the State or National Headquaters of your group about this and see what they would do. It could become a legal matter.

As Shaz says, the KKK were very much against us with French Catholic background. I have a copy of a documentary that shows marches in Portland by the KKK against those with French Heritage in Maine. I also remember the rally here at that members farm.

Just last week I was asked to help out with a computer problem at a local organization and I was surprised to hear about someone making a comment there about how it use to be a better organization before the "Acadian French" joined. Cultural bigotry is still here.

  3. When I got drafted in 1967 there were a number of draftees with me that had a choice of either going to jail or "volunteer" for the draft. I have no idea what their crime was but I do know one was rejected because he stole 13 lawn movers from a hardware store. Uncle Sam didn't want any thieves in Viet Nam.
