The bee, the number three and numerology

I was once taught that the number three and the bee have some significant correlation. I am sure people here in this thread/forum can help supply some of these facts to further understand why/if divinity and the bee are somewhat tied or linked together. I will dig through my old books and see what I can come up with and if anyone knows some reasons why the bee and the number three are or are not so connected in numerology and science please add what you can to this discussion.

I believe the discussion will eventually lead into Babylonian religion, how it exists and in what forms today.

Well, they do rhyme....other than this, I have never heard of anything. Just a wild guess without getting a bee in my bonnet or anything such like :) , It would probably most likely deal with three and the Trinity...then the bee and its honey, which would possibly have been considered the food of the gods.

Possibly something from Bullinger's Numbers in Scripture. I seem to remember he had several examples of numbers and numerical patterns in nature as well as in the Bible.

That is the coolest rock anthem, thanks for sharing it here. I will listen to it a while here then look for a studio copy of it. THANKS AGAIN. :) Bees provoke such a strong visual imagery and imagination in music.

In mythology bees were sacred to earth and grain goddeses. There is a myth where three bee priesteses were given to Hermes. Honey meade was connected to divination. Google Melissae.
