I recently had a newer computer given to me. A IBM NetVista Type 6579-NDU.

The computer has both Windows 2000 Professional AND Windows XP Professional loaded on the hard drive. When it boots up I am offered a choice of either Windows that i would like.

Right now I'm using Windows XP as the main operating system.

The question I have is, how do I run a 'scandisk' like under windows 98 SE? I have run a defragmentation of the drive and it tells me that there are some files that Windows couldn't defragment.

Is there a different program other than "scandisk" in windows XP??? I'm a newbie when it comes to XP. I can get around 98 SE like clockwork, but would like to know if they have renamed 'scandisk'.

Thanks.
