SUDOKU

Saw a link to this site, on another site -- and though the Sudoku site owners claim it isn't math (but rather logical thinking), my head was swimming with numbers both during and after the fact.

I clicked on the *easy* game. Took me a while to solve it. Even their *easy puzzles* are hard (to me).

If you try it, good luck! :)

DMiller -- Thanks pal for the awesome game site. My 13 yr old is LOVING IT. I solved #1, but not without a few retries. My son got it in less than 10 minutes. That kid is a math whiz. A honor-roll., and he wants to try the 'hard' ones.

THANKS -- Its giving my son and I some 'mother/son' moments. Can't wait to share it with my 23 yr old daughter. She's also one of those 'intellectually gifted' people. Not sure where they get that., tho. I was a mere A/B/C student.

I appreciate you!

If you are walking through the airport in Charlottle NC----- you might see a ticket agent (or many agents) diligently working behind the counter-- or at the gate ---on what appears to be impotant work....

BUT.....its SUDOKO!!

Apperently this is a VERY ADDICTIVE game!!!!! I'm afraid to start...........................!!!!!!!

Our newspaper here just started running Sudoku a few weeks ago. They rotate easy medium and hard versions each day.

I can't get out of the house in the morning until it is done. It has taken over the cryptoquip in my morning routine.

On medium and hard puzzles I go thru each box and write the possible results in each box. From there it gets easier, if you learn the next steps of elimination.

Was just at Costco today and then Barnes and Noble, to find this one book my son wants, and lo and behold SUDOKO books EVERYWHERE. There were puzzles you can do sitting on the toilet, in bed, at breakfast, and the list goes ON.... There were entire tables dedicated to this new Craze..

Man I need to get out more often.

What I am enjoying is that its something that forces a person to use their "think tank". Its quite stimulating, as well as time consuming.

DMiller if you are wondering, my son went back to the Easy ones, and even after #1 they get tougher, and if it isn't easy for him, he goes on to something else....... The hard ones were way too stressful.

So he's back to the easy and challengin me on them and WINNING.......
