Forgive me for interrupting the thread. A) I'm also curious which 7 languages Allan speaks. Obviously, English is one. B) Allan, when you said "and witnessed some supernatural happenings at the time", were you referring solely to SIT at the time, or something else like healing or another? I was very curious. C) "I've heard people s.i.t. a mixture and mish mash of some of those 'human languages' in the same utterance." If we were rehashing- or I was still trying to make up my mind on the subject, I'd think you were making Raf's argument for him. (Back when I was agreeing with you on this, it would have gotten my attention, and not in a good way.) D) Isaiah 65:8 may not be the verse you meant. I can't find anything remotely resembling a connection in any version. E) Zephaniah 3:9 is the verse you meant, but other than in the KJV, it doesn't remotely resemble a reference to SIT.

BTW, George, after all I posted, I was hoping you'd at least get to "It's obviously a cartoon, but which one?"

I actually would have gotten it from your penultimate post. Harley Quinn definitely has cussing and violence, but being a cartoon, based on a comic book (which was based on a prior cartoon), one might have expected it to be a kids' show. George

Ok, I'll go. Knock knock knock... Penny. Played by Kaley Cuoco, who is most certainly NOT Margot Robbie (though she is a cutie pie in her own right). They do have the distinction of playing one Harley Quinn. Cuoco in an animated series, which one would predict could flourish in a lockdown environment because the actors don't need to be anywhere near each other.

That sounds like Sheldon Cooper. "Young Sheldon" fits some of the clues (title character not played by Jim Parsons), but there was no violence or cursing, and the only main actor well-known before the show was Annie Potts (though minor characters were played by Ed Begley, Wallace Shawn, Craig Nelson, etc.). Sounds like "Doom Patrol," except that that has no "title character." Based on a comic book, but not a kids' show. Lots of cussing and violence. Stars include Timothy Dalton, Brendan Fraser, Alan Tudyk. Started in 2019. George

Scent of a Woman (?) George

This show, AFAIK, is still an ongoing show (if not, it ended in the past year and I never noticed.) It began during the Covid shuffle. For those of you who forgot, nearly every show currently being produced ended abruptly when that happened. A handful of shows were able to resume soon after. A few isolated EVERYBODY somewhere, so the entire show was self-contained. A few ran with only 1 or 2 people filming them, sometimes with their family, so we met Stephen Colbert's wife and kids and so on (with other people in separate scenes, like the band not at the same location.) A few shows figured out how to continue with isolation protocols in place- so "Guy's Grocery Games" had Food Network people as contestants and judges, working out of their own kitchens, in a season I actually liked. A few new shows began where the motif of people participating on screen was what drove the show. A few game shows kept all the contestants 2 meters apart from everyone. HOWEVER, one genre of show had the potential to prosper, even explode, during that time- especially since demand for content had exploded with so many people at home around the world, interested in content. This show was one of them, and began at that time. The unobservant might think it was for kids- but there's a lot of swearing and bloody violence, and a body county on the show. It's continued for several years since then. It's actually had a spinoff of a character who was almost comedy relief. There is a title character, but they're not played by the actor most commonly associated with this character. A large number of supporting characters appear. Some have appeared in lots of shows before. Some have never appeared in shows before. Strictly speaking, this show began to air before the lock downs, but viewings took off when they began. Of the main cast, at least 3 of the 6 are well known for playing well known characters in other franchises. All of the main characters were existing characters prior to the show's premiere.

Sí, y no. Quizás. It's inconsistent. Sometimes the title is rendered "Vaselina," and sometimes it's "Grease." Sometimes the name is a transliteration or almost so, and other times, the name varies by a lot. But even when dubbing, musical numbers are left intact. Subtitles may be added, but the audio remains.

Four U.S presidents were cheerleaders in their respective colleges before becoming the most powerful men in the world. Thanks for your input and insight, Allan. Obviously we are going to disagree on the big picture, so no need to rehash. My only other thoughts: Zephaniah 3:9 doesn't even remotely hint at S.I.T. Neither does Isaiah 65:8. Like, remotely.

What seven languages do you speak? Yeah, I know it's a bit off-topic. Just curious.
