  1. Hmmmm not sure which way to vote. --> I met many wonderful folks thru twi, that I would have neve met elsewhere. :)--> For that I am really thankful. But I do have the 'misgivings' (to put it MILDLY! :D--> ) so I guess I will hit that middle button on the poll.
  2. Golfie ------ amennnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!! :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D-->
  3. 2027 When judgement time comes, ain't none of us will be sitting in the judge's seat. Sorry, but that is the way it is (or rather -- will be)
  4. Socks -- my fiddle is very fit! :D--> :D--> :D--> Fit for any kind of music, thrown my way. Hey -- checked out your link, and saw there was .0 inches of rainfall there at twi. Does that mean they are all happy, and no crying going on --> :)--> :)-->
  5. C Jack. gotta disagree about the fundi thing.:(--> Southern baptist's are fundi"s, AOG are fundi"s, but twi is way off the fundi scale. So far so, I would call them extremists. But I know what you meant, I think --> :)--> :D-->
  6. Hey Captain Jack ------ all that talk about pillage, plunder, rifle, and loot --> Was that from the sing along the way, or was that something you picked up at headquarters :D--> :D--> :D-->
  7. ALSO Just saw the words ---THE PREVAILING WORD over the "venerable" old Way Tree. --> Used to be Word Over The World Yes? --> Given the weather report status, maybe they should put "The Prevailing Winds" over the "tree" :D--> :D--> :D--> :D-->
  8. Good site !!!!!!!!! :)--> :)--> :)--> I noticed the wind "gusts" --> Was that recorded from the pulpit or from a recognized weather outfit?? :D--> :D--> :D-->
  9. Ex 10 yep, you are right. :)--> eknepho is a short study, used only once in the New Testament. --> (I Cor. 15: 34) But it is used another 5 times in the Old Testament, and the relation between the two, is awake to sobriety from drunkeness from wine, or awake to sobriety of thinking, caused by wrong doctrine. :D--> Either way, it is short, but fun to look at
  10. I have one question. --> I keep hearing "our abs" being spent on this ad. Is someone here still giving twi abs money?? Tell me it ain't so!!
  11. A quote from John Lynn, many years ago -------- God did not create ADAM AND FRANK. Still applies today --> :rolleys:
  12. A quote from John Lynn, from many years ago -------- God did not create ADAM AND FRANK. Still applies today --> -->
  13. Same sex marriage??????? That to me --> is the ultimate oxy-moron
  14. CW -- as pertains to your question about getting drunk, or being high, I am doing a word study on "eknepho" -- Strongs # 1594, awake, and once I get it done, you may see it posted here :D--> If you don't see it here, it will be on www.truthortradition.com (yes) the CES sponsored site. :)--> :)--> But good questions, even if they are broken logic to you.
  15. CW hmmm --- maybe am missing something from the word --> When did Paul "steal from unbelievers" ? --> Guess I missed it. Can you give the "proverbial" chapter and verse on that one????
  16. Pamsandiego yep, 100% correct. The ad spot has to be for their public image, since we all know Wierwille Road is a dead-end street. I for one am here, in gear, and locking into 4-wheel drive, and ready to ride over the "bumps" on Highway 29, and Wierwille Rd. :D--> Maybe flatten a few in the process. Hope so. :)--> especially the "corporate" bumps. :D--> :D-->
  17. PapaJohn -- one word only to your last post there. and that is Amen. :)-->
  18. Geo yep. If it works for dogs, it should work on twi folk too :(--> Just Thinking --->> great point :D--> you hit the nail on the head. Ex -- I never read the book, --> but am willing to bet vpw read it to lcm at bedtime and got the message thru, loud and clear!!! :D--> :D--> :D--> :D-->
  19. Wytedove Hey there. GOOD FOR YOU Guess lcm and them don't have to worry about debt, since the ABS keeps coming in Abortion is wrong, no matter how you slice the pie (no direspect intended by that remark). Eagle -- how sad that happened. Who knows what a wonderful person that child could have become.
  20. Hmmmmmm 5 minutes?? With that 5, I would get out my five-string banjo, and try to communicate (one more time) some "licks" on it to Dean Ellenwood, musically, if not verbally but, unfortunately, it takes wayyyy more than 5 minutes to get a banjo in tune, :(--> :(--> :(--> so for me, the question is rhetorical. Maybe if he had 5 minutes, he could finish showing me some of the chords he uses on guitar. But we would run out of time there too. :D-->
  21. Gold Medals, Blue Ribbons, and all those other cool awards go to ----->>>>> 1) Rottie grrrl for bringing this to our attention ; ;)--> 2) Bob, for the link to the station : 3) All who took the time to let them know what we found out thru painful experience. May we never have to do so again. :D--> :D--> :D-->
  22. Rottie Thank you for telling us all this!! ;)--> Since so many have lodged protests to the station, I thought it to be redundant to do so also, but sent them a thank-you e-mail, for taking such prompt action on the matter. I did lodge a mini-complaint about the fact twi was advertising , but the main thrust of the letter was gratitude for them, and their decisive action. Hope you all do the same. Shoot low. TWI is riding Shetlands!
  23. I have been here for 2 years now, but just recently registered. I only comment on the comments made by others, and never comment on the poster of those comments --> I think all others here do the same, with a few variations here and there We were once all in a "clique" and are doing our best to avoid that mistake again. At least I am :)--> :)--> :)-->
  24. Brady sorry to let Mike distract me from answering you. :(--> You started a good thread, and I NEVER refer to vpw as Dr. anymore, tho as some have suggested, he put in the time, but in the wrong place, and thus is worthy of the title --> hmmm perhaps. We'll see at the Bema eh?? :)--> :)--> :)--> :)-->
  25. Now I have heard it all --> !! Mike -- what planet are you from? I liked vpw too, he did some good things, but I am not going to immortalize him. Can you seriously suggest that Jesus would teach from the PFAL booK????? --> Not only is the theology therin "cracked" so is the binding (on my copy). I wonder if there is a signed, first edition up there in Heavan. :D--> :D--> :D--> Shoot low. Mike is riding a Shetland! [This message was edited by dmiller on February 02, 2004 at 17:12.]
