  1. Oh Verbalone, sorry to say we have our limit of dogs in the cabin however there are allowances for bringing dogs into the park, ie on a leash in the campsite etc. I'd check the parks pet policy page for the details. See youse tommorrows :D-->
  2. Sure does :D--> It looks like folks will be ambling in from noonish on, we'll be in about 8 or 9 (depending on pit stops). I've promised my cohort in travel at least one See you Friday :)-->
  3. Ain't this gonna be fun! It looks like the hurricane is going to avoid the west Tennessee area but bring along some rain gear anyways. 4 more days.. YEEHAW!! :D-->
  4. Wow Ginger that WAS a long post I hadda stop fer lunch half way through it :P--> Thanks :)--> Mikey
  5. If anyone is flying into Nashville Friday and is in need of a ride lemme know, Peace out man Mikey
  6. Sorry to hear that Zix, was looking forward to hooking up with youse two. Ahh well there is always next year
  7. WOW Top Subject in the Inactive Forum, isn't that an oxymoron or something? :P-->
  8. Hawk is the country version of MacGyver, he always carries his 45 just in case :D--> Oh and not to worry about a hard to start campfire, Hawk's perfected the art of incineration via flamethrower, I wuz VERY impressed
  9. I think I've figured out this benevolant dictator stuff A few of my most important edicts have been *sounds good*, *sure*, *of course*, *I dunno why don't we find out*, *umm I'm not so sure about that* and *ARE YOU FRICKING CRAZY OR JUST TRIPPING OR SOMETHING??*. Sudo I am looking forward to meeting you (and your stew) Friday, glad this thing came together like this :)--> Tess n Cathy n Shell, you ladies are the greatest :D--> Cathy you have my services as head dishwasher for your cooking endeavors and as head dishwasher I'm gonna be looking fer a few younger assistants to help clean up after the meals (don't tell the kids nothing about this) (as if they aren't peeking in here occasionally anyways ), it'll be a surprise of sorts. I'll bring a large can of coffee a bag of sugar n some half n half n we'll pick up a few other things on the way in. Sure looking forward to this Mikey
  10. Herbiejuan yer benevolant dictator here It looks like floor space will be at a premium in my cabin so if you are planning to come and haven't secured space yet I suggest ya get with it pronto :D--> Also for those floor folks, make SURE you bring some form of bedding and padding, I think the floors are hardwood and might be a bit uncomfortable come 3 am Temps are going to start their descent into fall this weekend, 60's at night here which means 50's (usually) up yonder. I heard geese heading south 2 weeks ago (or longer) so I would anticipate cool temps and bring stuff to stay warm. ok bye for now mikey :P-->
  11. Oh and thanks Tess, I thought it might but I was too lazy to find out [This message was edited by pawtucket on August 28, 2003 at 11:35.]
  12. Hey Sudo n Zix, what cabins did you guys get? Inquiring minds want to know Namely me
  13. :D--> ;)--> Hey umm for that poster who recieved no reply to their PM to me...when I tried to reply to your post my screen told me I didn't have the necessary rights to reply. But to make a long story short...by all means but bring a bag (paper or plastic sir?) and yerself. Mikey PS is anyone coming from the NC area?
  14. Umm I got two of them Now what --> I wonder if Florida will demand a recount :D-->
  15. Ummm what does that have to do with the weenie roast Mikeo? Are ya coming? Be fun and interesting but mostly fun
  16. Hey Psalmie! We were hoping you'd bring yer little piggy to the roast cuz we're still looking fer a main course :D--> All kidding aside (hitchiking is out of the question right?) I'm sorry you can't make it, no weenie roast is complete without you playing yer sackbutt and psaltry I recently changed my email addy in my profile to herbiejuan@hotmail.com if you need to contact me for any reason, please use that address. I've had several requests for sleeping spots, at this point there will be a spare tent, a fold out sofa and floor space. Bring padding and a sleeping bag. Remember these cabins will be housing 6-8 adults and mebbe more so if you are bothered by folks ambling in and out at different hours or like to sing show tunes while chugging shots you might want to rethink where you will be spending the night Party on !! :D-->
  17. Hey is anyone passing through Knoxville? Someone needs a lift there n back. Mikey ps... So this food thing is working itself out :)--> and we didn't even need a bc or lc's approval or supervision
  18. Happy Happy Anniversary to YOUSE!!! Hope you guys have a great day Mikey
  19. Cathy can you and a few helpers handle breakfast?? We can split the cooking up between two cabins if needed. What about the sausage flour n stuff??? Abi are we talking Taco Bell hot or Dave's Ultimate Insanity hot?? What about the fixings?? You be needing anything??? Hawk hows the stew looking?? Need anything to go in it??? Any more food volunteers?? I think, to simplify things, we each ought to be responsible for our own drinks (I'm bringing plenty of coffee), eating utensils (the cabins have some) and any snacks/lunch stuff you might need. So, with Hawks stew Abi's Chile and Cathy's chocolate biscuits we have 2 meals covered, out of like 5, what about the others? [This message was edited by herbiejuan on August 18, 2003 at 12:45.]
