  1. Boisterous, yup hadn't heard that word in awhile so I threw it in and Sudo you fergot I got a copy of the tape
  2. JF nevermind...duh I am so dense sometimes there's a map in there... Do we want to do a walk-in or one of the B sites?
  3. JF thanks for the heads up on the park having cabins n camping stuff, I fergot they had such things in Tennessee :P--> We excultmembers tend to be a boisterous bunch often past the 10 pm curfew set by the park rangers (we are an unruly bunch aren't we :D--> ). Soooo I was thinking that there might be a campsite area which would afford us some privacy. ie rather than being in the middle of the campground surrounded by dozens if not hundreds of campers, we could locate a spot off to the side, on the end or some other ammendable solution.
  4. Oh before I do drift off to slumberland... Someone needs to figure out where the best camping spots for our motley crew might be. Any suggestions?
  5. Well I guess it's time for an executive decision :D--> The Thrid Annual Southern Comfort Weenie Roast will be held at Falls Creek on Columbus Day Weekend (ok now that that parts overwith can I PLEASE go back to sleep? :P--> ). Mikey
  6. Paw, I'm thinking we ought to take folks that misbehave out back n shoot em. Since we can't do that (except in certain parts of alabama) I say move the threads into the most logical place they should be. Heck most of us know how to operate a mouse by now... I do think that if someone is trolling for converts they ought to have enough gumption to start their own website.
  7. Zix I have it on Beta you can take my word on it :D-->
  8. What would happen if Drs last teaching wasn't really his last?
  9. Happy Happy Joy Joy!! Hope its wonderful!
  10. Man O Man Paw!!! Just previewed the movie :D--> ;)--> :)--> How cool it is indeed! Can you say reality tee vee?? This flick has it all Benevolant Dictators who nap alot Sex in a Bowl Suicidal Deer (we need more Mel stories!!) Lots of leg n boob shots (not the mention the van scene ;)--> where ya got busted ) It's got plot it's got drama it's got car chases (oh wait that's Cathy chasing horsedog) Hell it's even got purpose! Fox might be interested in this (as would the psych ward). Thanks Paw it wuz great!
  11. Zix sure take a look, fact of the matter I'm gonna head up that way pretty soon myself to check things out. I think the pet thing is a non issue for the most part as one dog owner prolly can board theirs and the other could just pass theirs off as horses. :D-->
  12. Wow... Crammed into a tiny mold that didn't fit him Yup I unnerstand that completely, glad you guys are out sane and reasonably happy, life is an adventure and should be lived with great gusto, twi did their best to squash that gusto but thankfully they failed for the most part. :)--> The thought of killing for twi did pop in my mind a time or two, not the gee lets go kill fer our cult leader but more like ya know I wonder if these loonies are going to drive this thing to that point or not and then what will I do? I never bought into the stockpile of weapons theory that has circulated through these forums so much but I did believe at the time (and still do) that if you added up all the privately owned weapons on hq property and perhaps a *private collection* or two you'd essentially end up with the same thing. I did believe that there were at least a few hardcore committed (or at least needed to be) followers who could VERY easily go over the edge for their mog. This clearly came to mind at a rock (94 mebbe?)when the black helicopters flew overhead (what was up with all that anyways???). I pondered the significance of this and what might happen if someone did something really stupid and how I would get my family to safety. This was the same timeframe when the McSpit began his vehement attacks on gays, unruly children wives and other assorted creatures and I knew then that my time with twi was about over. We made it out and life is good, there is much to be explored out there and we get a second chance to find truth happiness and peace and this is good.
  13. I think some of it was real and some unreal. We were a bunch of people clustered together patting ourselves on the back for our victories over *the world*. But it didn't stand the test of time. Shattered delusion coupled with social isolation bred mental distress when *the truth* came out. That is VERY real to alot of people who came out. I think those moments you spoke of as being sweet times in small fellowships is a delusion, whatever good came from it could have come from an endorphine rush in yer head.
  14. The thought of little weenie roasts sprouting up across the country scares the hell outta me
  15. WB the shelter idea sounds interesting but I'm wondering if there is a real need for something above and beyond what already exists. The majority of wayfers already have a job and a place to live so the extent of their leaving is to change their phone number and hang a no tresspassing sign on their front door. These guys will go through a *readjustment* period but already have life coping skills and will in all likelyhood be fine. The only folks I can see having need of such a place are the folks at gunnison or hq which maybe number 250 or 350 all together and I don't see them leaving in hordes anymore. So my thinking is, if the program ain't broken no need to go messing around with it.
  16. Columbus Day Oct 9-11th has been suggested as a date as has the weekend after Labor Day. I think the three day weekend would make traveling easier for fellow weenies.
  17. Wonder, you really have everything. You have the freedom to live life according to your dictates not the prevailing delusion. You have the right to reexamine your beliefs and change them if/when they don't fit any longer and you have the rest of your life to make new friends who won't judge you according to what corpse you were in or what minimog you are pals with. Wishing you the best in your new found freedom, Mike
