1. First, I don't buy the ultradispensationalist approach that Wierwille and Co used. So your comment makes no sense on that basis.

But, even assuming that your proposition is correct and we should apply ultradispensational principles, you are telling me that in the age of grace that you should be more judgemental of people than Jesus Christ was when he was on earth?

So, during the "Christ administration", the proper thing to do was to minister to the homosexual to deliver him.

But during the "Grace administration", the proper thing to do is to kick the homosexual to the curb.

During the "Christ administration", the proper thing to do was to minister to the murderer to deliver him.

But during the "Grace administration", the proper thing to do is to kick the murderer to the curb.

During the "Christ administration", the proper thing to do was to minister to the rapist to deliver him.

But during the "Grace administration", the proper thing to do is to kick the rapist to the curb.

Do I have that one correct?

"You are welcome at the Way..."

    :)

  2. TheMex:

Think about this for a minute...it is correct to M&A homos, rapists, and other types of criminals and sinners?

How do you expect those people ever to be delivered if you can't show them the way?

Mat 9:10 And as he sat at table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples.

Mat 9:11 And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"

Mat 9:12 But when he heard it, he said, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.

Mat 9:13 Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

Luk 7:24 When the messengers of John had gone, he began to speak to the crowds concerning John: "What did you go out into the wilderness to behold? A reed shaken by the wind?

Luk 7:25 What then did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft clothing? Behold, those who are gorgeously appareled and live in luxury are in kings' courts.

Luk 7:26 What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.

Luk 7:27 This is he of whom it is written, 'Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way before thee.'

Luk 7:28 I tell you, among those born of women none is greater than John; yet he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he."

    Luk 7:29 (When they heard this all the people and the tax collectors justified God, having been baptized with the baptism of John;

Luk 7:30 but the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected the purpose of God for themselves, not having been baptized by him.)

Luk 7:31 "To what then shall I compare the men of this generation, and what are they like?

Luk 7:32 They are like children sitting in the market place and calling to one another, 'We piped to you, and you did not dance; we wailed, and you did not weep.'

Luk 7:33 For John the Baptist has come eating no bread and drinking no wine; and you say, 'He has a demon.'

Luk 7:34 The Son of man has come eating and drinking; and you say, 'Behold, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!'

Luk 7:35 Yet wisdom is justified by all her children."

Luk 7:36 One of the Pharisees asked him to eat with him, and he went into the Pharisee's house, and took his place at table.

Luk 7:37 And behold, a woman of the city, who was a sinner, when she learned that he was at table in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster flask of ointment,

Luk 7:38 and standing behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

Luk 7:39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, for she is a sinner."

Luk 7:40 And Jesus answering said to him, "Simon, I have something to say to you." And he answered, "What is it, Teacher?"

Luk 7:41 "A certain creditor had two debtors; one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.

Luk 7:42 When they could not pay, he forgave them both. Now which of them will love him more?"

Luk 7:43 Simon answered, "The one, I suppose, to whom he forgave more." And he said to him, "You have judged rightly."

Luk 7:44 Then turning toward the woman he said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I entered your house, you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.

Luk 7:45 You gave me no kiss, but from the time I came in she has not ceased to kiss my feet.

Luk 7:46 You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment.

Luk 7:47 Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little."

Luk 7:48 And he said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."

Luk 7:49 Then those who were at table with him began to say among themselves, "Who is this, who even forgives sins?"

Luk 7:50 And he said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."

Think about it a little, themex...

To whom is address Luke? Also the context of Romans, we are talking about the body of Christ. In the Church if a born again son of God does not whant to live the standards of the good doctrine and is harmful to the others and do not want to change after a period fo time He or She should be M & A.

  3. I guess what has the light bulbs going off for me is finally understanding that if it is as we were taught.....what was acceptible and understandible behavior for Saul and David and Paul as natural men...servants .... would not necessarily be acceptible and forgivable behavior in one born again Christian.....a supposed son of God.

I think that is why fruit manifested must be such a big deal...it tells us EXACTLY what is on the inside...in spite of what the person claims to be.

I can understand now how we could have had both very kind loving leaders whom ministered to the people in their fellowships and yet other leaders in the very same organization who were very cruel seemingly without conscience ...who were enormously destructive to the people that they were supposed to minister to.

I think that it may be the difference between living with the genuine new birth and living as a natural man/servant.

One expects more of a son or daughter that has access to the father verses a servant whom just recieves marching orders with no real understanding or communication.

The main problem was the BOT/BOD, also LCM teaching style. He thought he was a football coach, and we believers were his players. But life is to much more complicated. Also the doctrinal error that they carried. But I think that is good to forgive them. Also make a distinction between the good and the bad TWI leaders. Not ol of them were bad.

  4. Let's set aside for this thread, whether M/A is wrong to do or not. That would be a good topic in

the doctrinal section (Romans 16:17&18). I want to focus on how twi's shift in a practical / moral way.

    Hello Patriot:

M & A is a biblical practise for the wicked ones, the very bad doers. Or the doers of very bad things, it is correct to M& A Homos, rapist, and other tipe of criminals and sinners.

TWI M & A good people, good believers that were inconform, so the application was wrong from TWI.

  5. I think so, here's something interesting, check it out.

    Good post CoolWaters.

    Here's another interesting link;

Incredible Outin88, very good. The Word of God is the Will of God.

Sweet Belle I think that you are taking the things to the extreme, maybe you need vacations, a new job, car, cloth, or change you routine, or a boyfriend. Most of all agree that VPW was wrong also that TWI is wrong, but the Bible? You know that I like a lot your questions, but in this category I think that you need to slow down. Get over all the bad things. Sorry if I am to direct but I do care for you. Also maybe I am wrong. But I send you a big hug and a kiss.

  6. I love dogs ... but don't have one ... although if I had a good place for one, I would be sure to have a couple ... I have a good friend who has a black Lab/Chesapeake mix ... I get to see him fairly often, so I guess he is my favorite dog du jour.

BTW, one BIG difference between TWI II and the home-based church I now attend is this: when one of the members' dogs was sick, we prayed for him to get better. Try THAT in TWI. They hardly let you pray for the regular people in TWI 2.

Of course we did! We use to pray for the BOD/BOT LCM and all of them!

  7. I know that after the lawsuits , their eldest daughter, who finished college, screamed at Loyboy and said;

"I don't even know if Jesus is not God, I don't know what to believe anymore."

They didn't talk to him for a long time. Especially their son, didn't want anything to do with him.

    They've had it rough.

If for us was/is difficult imagine for them, for his kids. :(

  8. Mex, I appreciate learning these things while in twi, as well.

Here are a few others off the top of my head, that helped me lots:

Learning that God loved me and forgave my sins

Christ in You, the Hope of Glory

    Sealed with Holy Spirit

    As He Is

    Complete in Him

    Sonship Rights

    Palms of God

    You Are Righteous Now

Biblical Truths: Get to Whom Correct

Yes but they need to change the sex doctrine for the "spiritually mature enough" Imagin that you have to have sex with the New Presidente Rosalie.

  9. Rape was one of the allegations that was never proven in court.

That's kinda what is nice about an actual trial ... the prosecution has a chance to prove an allegation, beyond a reasonable doubt.

Until then, the defense is considered innocent, until proven guilty.

    Oldiesman:

The sex issue was consider by lCM a VPW a doctrine for the "spiritually mature enough":

"Later in the year, after Martindale himself had come to (Mrs.Allen) in an effort to cause her to capitulate and have sex with him, (Mrs.Allen) went to Ramona for her Christian advice and perspective on the issue as she herself was dreadfully confused and alarmed. Unbeknownst to (Mrs.Allen), Ramona was at this time part of the plan to sexually victimize (Mrs.Allen). When asked by (Mrs.Allen) "how can this be right with God?", Ramona told (Mrs.Allen) that it was right with God. She told her that V.P. Wierwille had told Martindale that his behavior was acceptable and that as the "man of God," Martindale carried enormous stress in running the ministry and that she ((Mrs.)) could help alleviate this stress by allowing Martindale to have sex with her. Having sex with Martindale, Ramona reasoned, was in effect helping God. If Martindale were less stressed, then he could in turn, carry out his God-given duties more effectively. Ramona recounted that Martindale had said that Wierwille had taught him to consider all the women in the kingdom to be his- he was the king".

"Ramona brought (Mrs. Allen) for her first sexual, violation by Martindale which took place in the Way Woods late on the evening of August 6, 1996. This sexual episode is what is commonly referred to as a "threesome." Ramona was present to assure that (Mrs. Allen) could not refuse Martindale and she knew or should have known that (Mrs.Allen) was succumbing to coercion. Ramona had been a part of planning and orchestrating this event for several months".

Yes, it is incredible. But they are no changing this doctrine because it is for the "spiritually mature enough" and to move best the Word. :asdf:

  10. It was much later that I discovered that I had been

    lied to many, many times,

and the good in my life was purchased with destruction

in the lives of my sisters in Christ.

Now I better understand the sex problem of VPW and LCM, the soap opera topic help me to better understand. It is difficult to digest all the truth of the facts, when I read about the sue several years ago I did not understand all the problem. In some form I missed the details.
