You know the old saying about drawing a fish in the sand to communicate to another secretly that they are a believer? Well this is it, the fish drawn in the sand. by words from one to another with the Lord doing the speaking and interpreting. For it is not us, the carnal man that can understand the spiritual things of God but the Spirit of God that is within. Not by works of righteousness that we have done but by his grace. In Philipians I think....Also 1 Cor 2 comes to mind....

hmmm.. no i don't think that they know without speaking to one another. That would be more like mind reading. But the "feeling" of some one doing better would certainly communicate, but not from the other person, from the Lord as the Lord chooses. Also the Lord flat out telling you. In other words it's not an unspoken whether out load our within the mind type deal. Does this communicate? Also, I think this was a question, that one speaking to another and both understanding would be tougues, but not toungues in the sense of understanding. If it is understood, then it is not toungues in understanding but toungues in communication.

Can anyone see thoughts? Can they set on a table and be analyzed? The thoughts that are higher then our thoughts? Which came by way of training? trained to think a certain way. Change course, set your sail to a different direction, if you cannot see, and there is always things we don't see and the wind blows in many directions. Now you are getting it. Speaking unto men edification. Our soul/spirit that cannot be seen is refreshed by the brother.(from the quote is a new post after I saw what you just posted Tom) Not really sure what you are saying here Tom.

I'm not offended at all Tom, but appreciate your candor. Understanding is in the spirit. The thief in the night. Thoughts that are thought to be your thoughts are not. There a a quiteness of the soul that speaks from within. the coming and understanding is from within and from with out. The without is quite lonely without the within. It is an individual experience to understand which is interpreting. Interpreting is understanding and with all that getting of understanding seek Wisdom which is only from above, from the spirit within and without. When these two meet within, both within and with out, then there is understanding and our heart is to understand and to attain unto wisdom which is spiritual-all of it.

Is this not talking and speaking of now while we yet live? What good is it if it's talking about after we die in th flesh and body? 34Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. 35But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 38But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 39All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 40There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 42So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven. 48As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

to be born again one must die and what is to die, what is it to die and be born again
-
Simple but requires thinking easy but hard to do clear yet clouded facing death only to live inside out, upside down lay down your cross, carry your cross loose yourself find your self pain in birth, but joy that one is born

VPW took it upon himself to get people "born again'. It is not his to give or implement. There is only one who can bring this birthing to pass.

The Word, The Word, The Word – Nothing but the Word
dancing replied to Belle's topic in About The Way
Seeing these things in a different perspective, without even reading them can be learning. Not so much the way, although there are things in there that vpw didn't even see, but more then that. Even the bible or any material that can be read and remembered. There are lots of things that show us the way that have been around. People are a much underestimated resource, it is where Christ lives. -
I see no place where toungues are not understood by someone. At least it's understood by the speaker. And I see no problem with that, eventually someone will rethink what has been said. Of course it's always great to hear the wonderful works of God. And there is an element of trying to help and also just let loose. And there are always those who stop their ears at what is being said-example Acts 7. They knew what Stephen said yet attacked and killed him. Sometimes one has to say what needs to be said.

Thanks coupcake, It's hard sometimes when that old mind trys to creep in. Hurt a person at work the other day and it all came flooding back. Of course I said I was sorry. Even if I suspect I've hurt someone, I ask them. Thanks Again, Clay

for 20 years in the way i've hurt people with my supposed knowledge of "the way". what can be done about it and how are we dealing with it now?

16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. As for 16, that is Faith my friend. It is one Spirit. 26 and 27-Who is "he" that searches the hearts and knows the mind of the Spirit? Who is "he" that makes intercession for us? I'm sure there is more.....

Give me a chapter and verse waysider, I expect it's the one that says if there is no interpretation - no one there who can interpret is speaking to themselves and edifying themselves for the one speaking is hearing also and surely it is making sense to the one speaking. "Don't the scriptures teach that SIT (without interpretation as in one's private prayer life) IS in fact a spirit to spirit communication? Maybe I am not understanding your question." This what you posted is not what the scripture is saying, but you have it in part. Spirit to Spirit which IS understandable to one who can interpret, the one speaking and hopefully the ones listening. Men and Women have spirit and can interpret what is said. whether or not they have come to the place that they can or not is a growth process.

Tom, If Spirit can speak to Spirit. God to man and man to God. Can't Spirit speak to Spirit as in man to man?

Proverbs 25:2 2It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

Only to those who do not want to know. So not hardly rhetorical. http://www.biblegateway.com/keyword/?searc...olewordsonly=no 1 Corinthians 14:28 28But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. 1 Corinthians 14:37-39 37If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. 38But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. 39Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

Who interpreted in Acts 2?
-
yeah no 'man' understandeth...
-
Perhaps many have lost interest in Acts 2 and Mark 16. Along with 1Cor 12, 13 and 14... Could be a much different approach and realization of these things. Resigned to the incoherent toungues as taught by the way and others. I submit and for consideration that there is more, much more then previously thought by many.

hmmm no floppy drive.... you on a network with another computer? back it up ( whatever you need to) to the shared documents folder on the other computer
-
and do it when your not lit or even half lit http://www.filehippo.com/
-
sheesh excie - just reformat the whole computer..only takes about 4 hours with high speed if you have the sp2 disk free from microsoft.be sure to run windows update-express to get the security updates. The only reason for the high speed internet disks is to possibly modify your modem and set up your email. You can export your email settings to a floppy and windows update may detect your modem if it's wired direct without a router. Don't do any surfing till all anti-virus and adaware stuff is in place. namely spywareblaster spyguard windows defender spybot sd adware se or you can run a unix or linux based os but some servers require ie to operate

hmm yeah Danny taking on serpents without them hurting you Somewhat similar to toungues.... I thank my God(as opposed to another god) that i speak in toungues more then you all. must have been quite a few understanding. Cuz who says acts 2 was a phenomena and not the way it is alll the time. Wierwille of course. Just Cuz they were all Galiliens don't mean they didn't know these other dialects. And being moved by the Holy Spirit, just the right words came out.
