Great Thread((((Rascal)))), After reading your Great posts Rascal, Spoudaso, Waysider and Dan, I can only add this: God superseded this practiced doctrinal error/errors propounded or misused by TWI and interceded to protect us while we were deluded to every extent He could. I say that because GOD saved and healed my sorry a&& and the sorry a&&e& of many I knew and knew of, many a time through His grace and mercy and the sincere and genuine prayers of the body of Christ. All will be held accountable for what they taught/teach...How they either represented' or misrepresented GOD's Word and Will; and thus brought, confusion and instability of doctrine to the church...whom Christ is head!!! 1Cr 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1Ti 1:3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, 1Ti 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. I imagine that works conversely as well!!! Fortunately, we did have some teachers in the body who are worthy of of honor Jam 1:8 A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways. Most of our leadership were seduced by false doctrines and became very weak and very unstable.!!! Dear ((((Bowtwi))))) This is a very interesting account of divorce from GOD's viewpoint as he refers to himself as married to Israel, and Judah Her sister. This account expresses GOD's view concerning their adulteries, whoredoms and divorcement from GOD. They seem very connected and inter-relating here. Since GOD doesn't change; but is gracious and merciful and judges righteously, I think, (that is in my opinion) that the matters of judgment will go in accordance with the future judgment of those under each different administration. It is so interesting to see how throughout all the ages GOD also is seeking reconciliation and recovery of All His Children! That is Love like none of us can truly understand! Hey (((Jonny)))), Yah Jonny I visit His site quite often...He gave me the link several months ago in one of His Threads maybe??? I like the music he keeps there very much and I am a bit of a "dream traveler". I take my vacations through pictures and chat friends on line. I love to learn about other cultures and countries. I have learned so very much about people this way and how to bridge the gaps of understanding and differences. Laugh if You must, but it is almost like really traveling. If you can picture all this, then you know what I mean: Acquainting yourself with and speaking with the people, knowing their cuisine, art history, beliefs and customs..their daily lives and their music adds to create the atmosphere. It's like spending a day in their lives and understand why they think and act the way the do. We are not as different as we seem to be. We all need the same simple things God, Love, Respect, Kindness, Understanding, Help, Guidance..all good and right things. Like the lists below: Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Gal 5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. Phl 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things. 1Jo 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. It is a fun way to learn. The benefits are priceless treasures we have to share, to impart, and to receive knowledge, wisdom and love!
