  6. Hey((((Jonny))), I am glad You got o see them!!! I always liked Bumpy! I miss his wit and the music He has on his website I treated Him well, and fairly and He treated me well and fairly! We both made the effort to understand and see each others hearts through our many differences and cultures....fortunately, that out weighted any opposing viewpoints we may have had! I don't like to be at odds with anyone...it's never worth it to me! Hey Jonny, You could go on one of His Tours...Couldn't You??? They look so amazing and adventure filled...and You strike me as an adventurous guy!!!!
  7. How true, what you're saying is; Yet ironically many things GOD sets apart for particular distinctions and courses. They give us direction... like for example: the right road: Mat 7:13 ¶ Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Mat 7:14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. I hope You don't take this wrong (((Cman))), It is definitely not meant to offend You!!! It is a compliment about your personality that I see when I read your perspective and thoughts here! At first I didn't understand the way that you think! I guess we all think so differently. Now when I read what you write I see it much more clearly You surely are a very naturally mellow person for this day and age!!! Like the song "Mellow Yellow" sounds; and not in the context of or necessarily the words of the song! Years back when I used to be around people who would "mellow out" or "get high" on drugs...I was so amazed at how mellow they could be...yet it was so artificial, with its jagged and abrupt cycles of highs and lows...as soon as they hit their balance it was gone...so fleeting, hey?! They all too soon started crashing, and always had to chase their next "High" with ever increasing amounts of "High of choice drugs" Their crashes came sooner and sooner! I was offered a lot of drugs in those days and I am very glad that I refused them for the most part. Self control is too valuable a treasure to lose or squander!!! My kind of natural high may fluctuate somewhat but it's like You natural mellowness, just part of our different makeups and chemistries...and I might add totally literally and figuratively absolutely free!!! The way we think and learn, our individual make up, chemistry, soul and heart. have a lot too due with the free will choices we make! GOD's will and nature are so different than ours are...This I surmised because I know that we are not perfect and He, GOD IS!!! This helps me to understand these "through the looking glass" verses (as I call them), a little bit more: We are so very complicated and complex physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually that I will never be able understand or accept the theory of evolution. 1Cr 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 2Cr 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord. Jam 1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
  8. Hi Cman, Good to see you! Hey, don't laugh at me too hard, but for some reason I think better in the KJV; and I have some thoughts and questions about some of the verses you posted along with some that I have added. I also want to thank You for bringing them up here as they are becoming far clearer to me than they have ever been before! Jhn 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Jhn 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Jhn 15:14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. This is conditional that we are His friend here, if we do the will of GOD! Jhn 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Jhn 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. Jhn 15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another. Jhn 15:18 ¶ If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you. Jhn 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Jhn 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. Jhn 15:21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. Jhn 15:22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. Jhn 15:23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also. Is hateth here opposing GOD and His Will or total rejection of GOD? Jhn 15:24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. Why would they not have had sin? Jhn 15:25 But [this cometh to pass], that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. Jhn 15:26 ¶ But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: Jhn 15:27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. In Foreknowledge...Right?
  9. ((((Hill Bro))))!!! I had mine this year already; but thanks for the loving reminder and the sweet music!
  10. Thank You, ((( TrustAndObey)))! I enjoyed the article and would agree as you do to most of it. It is long, but well worth the read! Particularly I liked: these snip pits being brought out: "When Jesus Christ entered the scene, all of this radically changed. Our Lord inaugurated a New Covenant which made the old one obsolete. The New Covenant did away with rules. It did away with earthly distinctions. And it abolished special classes of people who possessed special privileges.": "Galatians 3:28 sums up the New Covenant nicely: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, bond nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” This passage summarizes Paul’s understanding of the effect of the gospel on cultural givens like racism, slavery, and gender oppression. Galatians 3:28 is not constricted to “salvation.” Instead, it holds social implications for everyone. In short, the New Covenant erases all social and class distinctions. And it has afforded all to receive the Spirit and serve as priests in God’s house. That includes women. With that said, whatever the “limiting passages” mean, they cannot in any way overturn the New Covenant. Neither can they contradict the entire thrust of the New Testament. Hence, the idea that women are excluded from speaking in God’s house is a catastrophic breach of the New Covenant. A covenant that has done away with earthly distinctions and treats both men and women as co-priests in God’s kingdom.
