  1. Chatty,

Glad you liked it. To bad she can't make a living out of it. She is good enuff I'm just not a salesman enuff I guess.

I always looked at it as here it is you like it fine, buy one. Sorta like I looked at "witnessing" also. Here it is I don't sell I share.

    sorry for the OT.

    John

Are you the male voice on her CD?

I swear it is playing in the house as I clean this morning and I am simply in love with this CD.

  2. I have to make one but yes she does. When she did the album they were still albums not CD's . We sell them for $15 total that includes shipping. Just PM me and I'll give you the particulars.

Hubby forgot to give me the mail until just now and guess what was in it.....oh my goodness (dare not say oh my god) it is playing now and thank you, thank you, thank you.

  3. You can see whose style he is leaning towards here as well. Or perhaps it's just that the stuff I saw him doing was soooooo SRV that I want him to grow up to be another one. ;)

Thank you for that. I hadn't even thought to check for YouTubes for him.

    :eusa_clap:

PS...I hear y'all need rain up there.

  4. I have gone from accepting and believing I deserved what was dealt me to saying enough is enough and being angry. This was done with you Abi seeing every phase and supporting me both in public and in private. The soft answer which I gave for years was not from the healthy place of confidence but of fear. So now I seek that manner again but from a place of mental health.

I believe Jesus Christ was angry for the right reasons rather than from frustration or emotional driving. You spoke of it as I understood it. He was justly angry and wanted the ones with eyes and ears to learn, knowing the leaders were fairly blind anyway.

I never understood peace from saying it like it was and then moving on as I do today. Now though is the time to learn to say it less aggressively and still have the same impact.

Thank you for sharing a precious part of your life and faith at a time when the board seems especially hot with emotions towards each other.

  5. Did you see Dirty Dancing? Although not a recent movie of course. And I never saw that series but am familiar with it.

Still thankful I was born when I was because there is so much of that stuff already gone. It seems we are moving ahead quickly and some things are memories at best.

  6. Wonderful!

And how important for the princess as well. An opportunity to see that spiritual folks can be concerned for things other than how right they are and how wrong everyone else is.

I love my church and looked long and hard to find one I felt home in, still not the same as the one in Ohio when I walked in and felt the presence of God like I had never felt before, like he was hanging out there my whole life just waiting for me to show up, but this one here is as close to that as I could find in weeks of searching and I'm at peace with it.

The thing that will continue to surprise you is how much understanding other faiths have over that of the tiny minded twi world. You will sit there and at time want to jump up and go "good golly miss molly" you understand that stuff better than twi ever will.

    Love you dear!

  7. I've never watched American Idol but that young man is as was stated there, a lump of coal that will become a diamond.

    Wonderful!!!!!

    Thank you polar bear ((((((you)))))

(so it will be here as well)

  8. I know not all here agree to be a Christian is appealing to them but being one I can only go on personal experience, of which I am the authority of, and I don't have to worry that my leaders in the church will one day tell me I have to kill myself and as many innocents as I can to prove my loyalty to God.

In that same vein of thought I believe that the Muslims that know the extremists amongst them are committing murder rather than godly actions will in time hopefully gain the strength as a whole to squelch the sick ones in their fold and prove they stand for something of life not death.

Until that day, until at least enough of them say "enough is enough" the sick ones will continue to tarnish that faith and the 1/4th of the world now numbered among them will be looked poorly upon while some like these men and women in these articles will see the evil being taught them to perform and move towards the light.

I can pray for it anyway.
