  1. "Incense and Peppermints"? I didn't recognize the first line, because I always heard "good sense, innocence, crippled and kind" George
  2. I keep a close watch on this heart of mine I keep my eyes wide open all the time I keep the ends out for the tie that binds George
  3. That's all well and good, but if I haven't seen it, I couldn't tell you who's in it! :) George
  4. My first thought was "Hot Dog," but that starred Woody Allen and Jonathan Winters. Both clues seem vaguely familiar, but I may need more help. George
  5. "I Am a Rock" by Simon and Garfunkel? George
  6. Det. Tibbs joins reporter Carl Kolchak in a Mississippi town to investigate supernatural occurrences. George
  7. It is Jimmy Cagney, but from "White Heat." Good enough. Your go. George
  8. Well, I'm glad you're secure in your self-worth. Now we just have to work on your sense of humor. :) George
  9. It is, indeed. (And the brothers are better than average fighters and marksmen, and have friends who can hack into any system...) George
  10. If no one else gives it a try (WordWolf?), I'll accept the actor's name for the answer. George
  11. Right you are, Rocky! (Don't expect ever to hear that, from me, again.) And Excie. It is, indeed Groucho who is Mr. Matrix: Dot and Groucho George
  12. Two brothers take on vampires, ghosts, hellhounds, shape-shifters, leviathans, tricksters, demons, and occasionally angels. George
  13. Silly me. That pretty much describes EVERY 21st century TV show. Real mash-up to come shortly. George
  14. This 21st century show features a character who can hack into any computer or system, and a world-class martial artist. George
  15. I believe that that's Oakspear. I get them confused, too! George
  16. I recognize that as the opening to an oldie, but I'm not sure which. "Dr. Kildare"? George
  17. "On a mountain of skulls, in the castle of pain, I sat on a throne of blood! What was will be! What is will be no more! Now is the season of evil!" "Being miserable and treating other people like dirt is every New Yorker's God-given right." George
  18. THAT's the answer I was looking for (although it was NBC, not CBS). "NBC Mystery Theater" rotated 90-min episodes of different mystery ("detective," if you will) series. The first four were Columbo, McCloud, McMillan and Wife, and Banacek; and these were the only ones carried over for more than one season. In addition to the others I listed, there were a few more, the most notable being Quincy (also the only one to spin off as an hourly series). First, the shows were on Wednesday night, then Sunday night shows were added, then Wednesday shows moved to Tuesday. Eventually, all the 90-minute shows went away, probably because they couldn't get syndication contracts. I hate to say it, but you're up, hiway! George
