  1. Hopefully, this will stoke someone's memory: Larry Todd Joe Anthony Rick Todd Bama Dillert Jeffrey Moss Sam Harmon Nick Arden Jason Steele Tom Elder Dee Bishop Matt Helm Vernon Demerest George
  2. Nothing from Nothing "Well, since she put me down, I've been out doing' in my head." George
  3. This was the most expensive television show to produce at the time, costing over a million dollars to make each episode, which was one of the reasons it was canceled after only 13 episodes. The actor playing the titular character based his performance on William Shatner as Captain Kirk in Star Trek (1966) of which he is a big fan. A video game based on this series produced by Bug-Byte Software was released for the Commodore 64 platform in 1985. The titular character was a hologram, but no CGI was used on the show, just traditional animation and editing techniques. The star of the show was far less famous than his father. George
  4. I don't get the post, either, unless Allen somehow references the show in his routine. (I didn't watch most of the video.) At any rate, it's not the answer. George

  8. I kept getting stuck on "My Boyfriend's Back," but I knew that wasn't it. George
  9. I remember watching it with my Dad. It WAS a bit bawdy for the day but probably tamer than Sesame Street, now. George
  10. I can even hear the girlfriends say, "Yes, we get it." It's an oldie, but I'm not quite clicking on it. George
  11. Kodachrome (Not the first line) My grandfather and me Around Nassau town we did roam Drinkin' all night Got into a fight Well, I feel so broke up I wanna go home George
  12. This map will continually update. George
  13. I've only seen a few minutes of Pulp Fiction. George
  14. The rhythm reminds me of "Like a Rolling Stone." Is that it? George
  15. That's how I feel about a lot of songs on this thread. George
  16. I'll give it Waysider. Most people think of it as "Don't Worry 'Bout Me," but the actual title is "Opus 17." I'd be surprised if WW and Human haven't heard it. Valli (91) is still performing and can still hit the high notes. I saw him live last week. His current "Four Seasons" and the backup band were all much younger, of course. It was a great show. I had forgotten how many great songs they did. George
  17. That's quite a lineup, but I'm not getting it. George
  18. I doubt Mac Davis ever covered this one. George
  19. Oh, I can see There ain't no room for me You're only holding out Your heart in sympathy If there's another man Then girl, I understand Go on and take his hand I'll be blue (Baby blue) And I'll be crying, too (Crying, too, crying, too) But girl, you know I only want What's best for you What good is all my pride If our true love has died? Go on and be his bride George
  20. Apparently, George Clooney played a major role. Leatherheads? George
  21. Yes. I remember all of the hubbub about the occasional buttock on the show. Boring by today's standards but considered pretty racy back then. Dennis Franz was Det. Andy Sipowicz on NYPD Blue. He was Lt. Norman Buntz on Hill Street Blues a decade earlier. (Early on in Hill Street, he played a jerk cop, Sal Benedetto. That character disappeared (killed off? I don't remember) and Franz returned to the show a couple of years later as Buntz. He then had the spin-off Beverly Hills Buntz, co-starring Peter Jurasik.) WW is up. George
  22. This show is often thought of as having brought nudity to broadcast TV, though it was actually predated by "Steambath," with a topless Valerie Perrine on PBS. Also prior to this show, "M*A*S*H briefly showed Radar O'Reilly's naked behind when he loses his towel running from a sniper. The main star played a similar character on another show (with a similar name) a decade earlier. George
