  2. No. The baseball references are a clue... George
  3. Right. As a kid, and pretty unfamiliar with "The Honeymooners," it never occurred to me that "The Flintsones" was a rip-off. It wasn't until years later, when I read a Jackie Gleason interview in Playboy, where he pointed it out, that I saw the similarity. Gleason said it was OK, though: Alan Reed ("Fred") occasionally even "looped" for Gleason on "The Honeymooners." While I've got the floor, I might as well answer the rest of my "Charlie's Angels" questions: Jill Munroe = Farrah Fawcett Kelly Garrett = Jaclyn Smith* Sabrina Duncan = Kate Jackson Kris Munroe = Cheryl Ladd (not Tiegs!) Tiffany Welles = Shelley Hack Julie Rogers = Tanya Roberts *the only "Angel" for the whole run George
  4. "Well, I believe in the soul, the c-ck, the p--sy, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated cr-p. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days." George

  6. Not a problem. Some people's computer settings are such that they don't even see embedded videos. George

  8. I guess it helps to know what the rabbit is drinking, eh? ;) George
  9. You conflated Kate Jackson ("Sabrina") and Jaclyn Smith ("Kelly"). Kate Smith, was, of course, the singer famous for "God Bless America." Not exactly the "Angel" type: I guess I got ONE of your Richard Hatches. I wouldn't have thought of the "Survivor" guy, but I do remember him, now that you mention him. Is it my turn? George
  10. My "extra credit" questions were open to all, though I got a chuckle out of WW's response. Kate Smith? Let's leave it open. I'll give the answers in a couple of days, if necessary. As for WW's question, Richard Hatch played "Apollo" in the original Battlestar Galactica. In the newer version, he played (featured role, not a star) someone on the Council (or Congress, or whatever it was frackin' called); he ran for President. That's two shows (with the same name). If he starred in anything else, I don't remember it. George
  11. It was, in fact, "Charlie's Angels." WW is up for the next "Mash-Up," but I have two "extra credit" questions? Can you name the actresses for each of those characters; and, which one was an "Angel" for the whole run of the show? George
  12. There's nothing wrong with posting a video. Just post the title and artist, as well. George
  13. If I didn't see the movie, how would I have known it from the clip? George

  16. Now I'm really confused, since Anne Hathaway was a baby in the eighties. George
  17. In this case it's even worse, because the embedded video doesn't contain the title... George
  18. Some people's computer settings are such that they won't see an embedded video. Please give the title. George
  19. Don't recognize it, but I haven't watched sitcoms with any regularity in over a decade. George
