  2. I'm a PhD. Joined TWI in grad school. People do occasionally call me Dr. St. George. (In formal settings.) George
  3. When I was in college, one of my fraternity brothers was a big fan of the pulp fiction character, Doc Savage. So, I began to call him "Doc," and the name stuck. Later classes thought he was a pre-med, or something. Does this have anything to do with this thread? I don't know. I'm just saying... George PS I AM a doctor, though I've never played one on television.
  4. Of course the title wasn't "Project Rebirth," but it is "Captain America" (The First Avenger) And thanks for the homage to the old ('60's) Krantz Marvel cartoon. Cap's song was the only one worth singing, anyway! George
  5. "General Patton has said that wars are fought with weapons but are won by men. Our goal is to create the greatest army in history. But every army begins with one man. He will be the first in a new breed of super-soldier. We are going to win this war because we have the best men. And they, personally, will escort Adolf Hitler to the gates of Hell." "Are you sure you know what you're doing?" "Yeah. I punched out Adolf Hitler 200 times." "So many people forget that the first country that the Nazis invaded was their own." "I know this neighborhood. I got beat up in that alley." "Why someone weak? Because a weak man knows the value of strength, the value of power..." "What is this?" "Steak." "What is in it?" "Cow." George

  10. Well, it's a romantic film, of a sort. But it's definitely not "Scarface"! George

  15. No, though he did a lot of those in the early 90's. He's been in a few fairly-well-seen theatrical releases. I'll give it another day. George
  16. Hmm.. I cxould have sworn that Yoda said that in the first Star Wars, but never mind, From "spice" I would infer "Dune." George (no new quote until I get confirmation, this time!)
