  1. I was reading through here on what is a victim. VPW was a victim of his lust for power and women. But I believe he also new this was wrong. If people brought it out he would lie and ruin their lives. Therefore he always remained a victim to his lusts. Any one that came close to him in leadership had to indulge in his lust or VPW would have been found out. These people were his victims also and they themselves became victimizers. Any one in or was in TWI is a victim in one form or another some worst than others. But it depends on what we do once we realize this. It takes many different forms but we must rise above it. After leaving the way I studied and learn from many: DL Moody, Geore Whitfield, Billy Sunday,l William Blackberry, Charles Stanley, Chuck Swindol, Roper, and many more. A person is no longer a victim when they can forgive. Is forgiveness going to effect VPW no LCM no it helps to release the victim themselves.
  2. reading through some of the things on Kingdomready.org is jsu recycled VPW writings. There is not much difference is his theology. Those of us who have been there can tell the difference. He is looking for those who are looking for the way stuff or don't know better. Not to say everything that was taught in the way was bad. Fior error to be believeable it must be mixed with truth. But I have see some people will believe anything. There are even people that believe the earth is flat or hollow with another world inside. The more error is said over and over the more believable it will be. <_<
  3. JAL gave up a baseball career to be leadership in the way. I have had a few run in with him. One was over believing equals receiving which I said I did not believe and he told me to get out of the corps. Which I did but when it suited me and on my terms. I have no respect for him. When the way was breaking up. I believe he saw his lively hood going out the window and started his own ministry. He did not know how to do anything else. He got others to follow him and finance him. All the books he wrote were on the arrgont side. That the way people are better than others. We are all sinners that is why we should be humble because of where we came from and realize wher others are at.
  4. What are we to judge or not judge. 1. we are to judge according to God,s word all things. Look at 1 Corinth for example. 2 we do not judge the unbeliever God is their judge. We must judge ourseleves how long we will be around certain people. I was involved in the Way at one point started out for the people I met. Then it was for God and I compared everthing to God's word I saw my short comings and continued to work on them. Had a run in with JAL and his wife and was told to believe their way or leave. Which made a turning point in my life. I would look for the truth and leave when I was ready. I believe all the Way leadership is responsible for not holding VPW and LCM to God's standard in God's word and they are all guilty. When they turned their back they gave their consent for what took place. When a person get absolute power they think they can do no wrong. They make themselves a god. The Way had no leadership that took a stand on God's word. I have gone to many churches and seen many different beliefs. All have some form of error. What I see in this God uses His word to accomplish what He pleases. The word of God is above all. When Jesus was growing up where did he go to the temple. Were they teaching the rightly divided word no. All of us are sinners and will be until we are with Jesus. I belive God destroyed the way because it was damaging people. Eventually what is left will dry up and blow away. God's word will stand. :)
