Yes, that's right, a "new" series, Kojak, I'm not sure when it's starting, or on what channel. It will star Ving Rhames. I hear tell that he's a pretty good actor, and he might be okay for the part.

Of course, you *could* have Ig build you one! He can probably do it for about what you'd pay for a Dell - OR he can do one for a little more, and it would be much closer to top of the line. He seems to enjoy that sort of thing, as a hobby. But he probably won't do a thing for you until you get off of AOL.

It's your brain looking around and saying, "Oh. I'm alive! I'm not being poisoned any more!"

"The Lion King"? "Father of the Bride"?

Yeah, really!! How could you have been SO *bleepin* STUPID?! Geeze, louise, what a moron!!! Oh, wait a minute, I was there, too. Nevermind! Remember how docvic(praise be his name) talked in the piffle class about the guy who sold a toothbrush with only one bristle, and how he couldn't have done it if he weren't sincere? Docvic(praise be his name) mastered sincerity.

Okay, you only "kind of" want to kill some people now - isn't that pretty much where you were before you started that nasty habit?

cc1248, did you happen to notice where I said "in my opinion"? And of course my explanation can not begin to take into account every possible combination of situations.

Nope. Haven't seen hide nor hair of him. Haven't heard a peep. He may have been kidnapped, or would that be "flatnapped"?

In my opinion, it's probably harder to do the filing than to be served. Like Cindy! said, you have to get everything together for the lawyer, you have to sign papers, etc. And before you do that, you have to work up the courage, and make one of the hardest decisions a person has to make. Yes, even in a miserable marriage, it's often one of the hardest decisions of your life. If you get served, you might receive a huge shock, you might be in a state of disbelief about it for a time, but more often than not it's expected.

Did I make that too easy?

So, dmiller, has Flat Stanley B left for Radar's place on the beach? And Krys, has Flat Stanley A left for Ex10's place? Where is(are) Flat Stanley(s)????

And excathedra spoke with him a few days ago and verified.

This article says that by marrying prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles will one day be crowned Queen. Oh, please, say it isn't so! It's a good thing that she's past breeding age! Imagine what the kids would look like - his Dumbo ears and her horse face?

Amos 'n Andy were before my time.

I just reread the title of this thread - March/April 2005 Magazine tidbits. I dunno, it seems strangely inappropriate. Sort of like "Tasty chunks from a pile of dog vomit"

Not only that, we're teaching them that it's okay - no, expected - for them to rebel. Just like you can disagree without being disagreeable, you can rebel without being offensive - well, oftentimes, anyway. We're teaching them how to channel that rebellion towards positive ends, so that it does THEM more good than harm.

ESPECIALLY since I've made up rumors about AOL not working well with routers and/or ZoneAlarm. Of course, if you're not convinced by now, you might never be.

That's not "Overboard", is it?

That's a tricky one.

Not me! I don't recognize the show in the slightest.

I would think the answer to that would be obvious. They can charge people for the way ragazine. The writers write the articles for free. They pay the staff a pittance. It costs them next to nothing to produce that birdcage liner. The question really should be: how do *I* get a scam going like that? That's a nice piece of change for very little effort!
