The course of the bubonic plague was turned by the concept of clean.

p.s. there is no such thing as a minor need to the Lord -- He cares not only about every hair on our head (even if it's only a few of them left) but about every care of our heart and life.

  2. Watching The Rookie (true story of an impossible dream reached) I was astounded at the ability of Walt Disney to get some great kids -- the casting is awesome.

And because I spent so much time just pooh-pooh-ing Walt Disney, I never noticed.

But the kids are perfect. Some of the nicest smiles you could hope to see captured.

(The story line, of course is nice. My type of movie.)

I recommend it for anyone who wants to believe an impossible dream.

    Still dreaming,

  3. Indeed it's so nice just to be able to enjoy stuff, look for the nice stuff

(without needing to arrogantly sit in judgment over everyone else's sins)

p.s. I love Robin Williams. He sure is versatile! Is this an old or new movie (theater, DVD or video only)

    enjoying life,

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words..

  6. Dear Firebee,

    Dear Millionsnowsmoking,

You are so very fortunate to have had him who you love, and fortunate that you are out of TWI and know that it's ok to grieve, and blessed that you have your friends to put their arm around their shoulder and cry with you.

The depth of sadness is a blessing because it only comes when love is there -- and it's getting used to that love changing, growing into greater depth. (We were never allowed grief in the numbing place of TWI-world.)

IMCO (in my changing opinion) as we lose -- loose loved ones into their going home to be with the Lord, our vision of heaven becomes much sweeter.

And love never dies. It takes on a new depth as those thoughts and deeds we miss so much become part of the fiber of our flesh.

"Dearly departed" is not a term of ridicule, but an expression of love and affection.

And we grow in knowledge that without our loved ones, we wouldn't be today.

These kinds of thoughts were not allowed in TWI, and there is much to be thankful in being out of that place.

    Crying with you,

    Hopefully still,

    Kit Soberangelkit.gif

The Lord shall descend with a shout and take us up together to be with Him, and so shall we all be together once again.
