  1. I think this is a typical post from someone who claims we should forgive and move on, and that now the ministry has a new twist. Besides that....forgiveness is a release from guilt, but it doesn't imply the restoration of a relationship. Because that requires repentance, which in TWI's case is asking for forgiveness from the people they have harmed and acknowledging that Wierwille was a plagiarist and that he harmed/abused many people. And we all know that TWI WILL NEVER DO THAT. And I do not agree about "The new face of TWI", because TWI appears different on the outside but internally it is still basically the same - a cult. For those asking, YES, TWI has been promoting ROA 25 as an "open christian festival" and encourages people to invite friends (even if they are outside the ministry), However that is the same old lie to appeal to young people. Have a good day!
  2. I'm grateful about the good stuff, but I would NEVER come back.
  3. It's too early for me to share the personal and painful details of my life. I can tell you that with the support of God , my family, a psychiatrist, and a psychologist, I've been able to move forward. Although I don't resent TWI, I wouldn't recommend anyone attend TWI unless it's ONLY to receive information about Romans 10:9 and then leave in peace. Where do I start? Lies about the ministry's origin, lies about the content they teach, plagiarism, abuse. Leaders believe they are chosen by God because of VPW's misuse of Romans 13, and those leaders believe that since they are called by God, they can do whatever they please. If you are with the ministry, they will be with you; if you walk away from the ministry, all those friends.. will stop talking to you. They use people, they don't love them. They "research" the WORD OF God only to the extent that it doesn't contradict VPW. (CULT-RED FLAG) They have abused thousands of people around the world, and now that Martindale and Rivenbark are gone... they go around telling people to "forgive" and move forward with the "Love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation." It's not an honest organization that publicly and openly acknowledges mistakes; they only do so privately (at some point the will do) TIME TO COME HOME uhh? They don't teach people not to harm; They don't teach people not to harm; they demand that victims forgive abusers, and they keep the abusers in power. If you want details, send me a PM. God Bless U, PD: Vern seems like a good man, with good intentions. But he doesn't have the strength to weed out TWI's sectarian practices. (I met him 3 times)
  4. For those of you asking. The Way is no longer supporting "tithing", in their STS they talk about "GIVE" and in the last fellowship I participated I was encourage to give freely. So they are not longer asking for 15% even for graduates of the advanced class ( I was) The Way has changed in the recent years? For sure, ¿ real changes? Not at all. TWI is bringing back the "good old years", uploading VPW teachings on their Youtube Channel, offering basically the same content. And hiding some of their core teachings in order to look more appealing to a younger crowd. Good people in TWI? For sure, you can find good people everywhere. You'll receive a lot of love in the beginning (Love-bombing uhh) ; as long as you don't commit to the ministry, they won't ask much of you. When you become deeply involved with TWI, the hell and abuse begin. And even though LCM's abusive tactics are no longer as prevalent, the emotional and psychological manipulation persists. I left TWI a little over two years ago. If you have any question about current TWI, just ask. Have a good day!
  5. Yes, I agree wholeheartedly. I do not know if it's the same "degree/level of evilness" of VPW. However, they know about his plagiarism and they still promote him as their "father in the Word".
  6. I took all the Classes and ss far as Knowing when "God is talking to you" part... that's the hardest. John Lynn did some teaching about it too called "Is That You God?", that was published in The Way Mag and his TWI Book called "Will the real you please remain standing". I think the main part is overcoming the "gospel of faith" thinking in this area too. But I would like to learn how to really "Receive revelation" from God, I know it is a big deal, but it should exist more authors than just Leonard, Wierwille, Bullinger and all the guys from Splinter groups. Thanks for all your efforts.
  7. TWI is doing some "jewelry" work showing VPW in certain contexts, for example in the ROA 25 videos VPW is not shown much, but they did recently release a book called "Faithful Bridge - Builders of the Way."
  8. Thanks My Friend!! I really appreciate it. I will listen attentively
  9. Thanks Charity! Yes, I would like to know and live those aspects of the Bible. Power to help people with God's Word (not VPW nor twi's).
  10. Thanks to Both! I adhere wholeheartedly about VPW's lack of practical understanding - And that He plagiarized Leonard's OG as well as Stiles, Kenyon, Bullinger and so on. (There's a big amount of evidence) I wanna go beyond what He taught for sure, I would really like to learn, even if that changes the "insight" I acquired at TWI. It's easy to impress anyone Speaking in Tongues or with "Word of Prophecy".... but it is pretty different with Miracles, Word of Wisdom, etc. If there's any other Author you know, I would be grateful to know too :)
  11. Well, I traveled to ADV Class 2020 - 2023 and Donna M. taught parts of the book (Dorothy's) during breaks after class, including how to eat an orange with a knife and whether or not to rest your arms on the table. I realized that many believers, especially Africans, were unfamiliar with certain american/latin/occidental manners. But culture is like that, we are all different.
  12. I still have that book at home. Some "HQ guys" said off the record that it was meant to "level" or "standardize" the customs/habits/patterns of believers from different countries to the "standard" of God's Word - God's Love in the "Renewed mind in manifestation".
  13. Is there any expert/book about this? Would you recommend me or guide for that matter? I've read all TWI books and Classes and also CES,STFI books but I still feel ignorant about that topic
  14. Well, first of all they announced PFALT as a modern-refreshed version of PFAL that helps people to understand the bible. Publicly they will say that is a Bible-based course "only". In private circles, or when they need to "correct" or " reproof" someone, they use the Class's syllabus and the coordinator's "guide" as if they were the Bible itself
  15. TWI does not promote the "1942-promise" anymore at least publicly. In the inner circles they still promote the idea of a directly proportional relationship between how close you were to VPW and how great you are. They did recently a "leader-profile" in the Way Magazine about Vern Edwards and they mentioned how close he was with Dorothea.
  16. Thanks Folks! And Keep it up! It's kinda funny cause I've been witnessing your posts and discussions since 2009 and now we are chatting. I even witnessed the Mike-Wars xD I'm thankful to all of you and especially Penworks for having the guts to write down all her experiences.
  17. Freedom, a new life, a new perspective about God and the Bible An opportunity to love all people, to serve from something as basic as a warm greeting in the morning to saying thank you and please, not being a false servant in a group only to become a leader. A wonderful chance to get closer to my family, that family from which I distanced myself because they did not participate in the ministry.

  19. TWI has changed a little bit during the recent years. But their change its only towards recover the "good old days" of VPW and PRE-LCM. VPW is still the main figure and the functioning of the organization and psychological abuse towards people persists. They're not willing to apologize to people; they only ask them to forgive and move forward "in love" . It's sad, but they demand greater maturity from the "average" believer than they do from the leader. Forgiving someone does not immediately mean restoring the relationship or psychological healing.
  20. Thanks For the Letters Charlene, I'm new in the Forum though I lurked for years. And I left the Way 2 years ago.
