I've heard my dad mention Dagmar before, but I had no idea who she was. Now I see why he remembered her. :D-->

Well, I never woulda thought... I love robbing the English, they're so polite.

An eye for an eye makes the whole World blind. That line was in "Gandhi" but I don't think the other one's were.

Interesting. It's got me living at my parent's address. I haven't lived there in over 30 years. Good luck trying to find me there.

Speaking of something that will turn your stomach. Sometimes I think I must have just imagined that I heard that. Guess not.

Didn't know that ever was a tv series. Here's the low-down on Warren from imdb: I remember that he just disappeared and nobody ever mentioned him again. Kind of like Chuck Cunningham on "Happy Days." He was just gone.

Just like reliving those three hour sessions on a hard metal folding chair. It makes me sleepy just reading that stuff.

It was the summer of 1980. I was in a Pizza Hut in Goldsboro, North Carolina. This was in my traveling salesman days, otherwise I wouldn't have been anywhere near that place. As I waited for my pizza, I started hearing some really weird noises and saw a kid about 13 or 14 playing some bizarre video game. When I went over to look at the thing, I thought it was the absolute stupidest game I had ever seen. When I finally figured out the point of the game, such as it was, I thought there is no way in the world that this dumb thing will ever catch on. I figured the last time I would ever see that video game would be there in the Goldboro Pizza Hut. Of course, what I saw when I looked over that kid's shoulder was this: levels for a total of 3,333,360 points. I think the most levels I ever got was six, and that maybe once, but I suck at video games.

Most of the freaks that have been camped out at the courthouse like it was a new Star Wars movie seem to be white. Very few blacks were ever shown. I don't know how popular Jackson is among blacks since he started to try to turn himself into Joan Crawford. If anything good comes out of this fiasco it might be some parents will think twice before they let their kids hang out with this looney tune. Or maybe, just maybe, Michael will come to the realization that a 46-year old man has absolutely no business sleeping with other people's children, no matter how "innocent" it might be in his warped mind. It boggles my mind that any parent with the sense God gave a goose would let their child spend one nanosecond with Michael Jackson, no matter how many little perks they got out of the deal.

Should we cheat, or wait to see if somebody shows up who's seen this? I have no idea.

Well, I never!! If I Google it, I'll admit it. If I don't know the answer, I'll usually just not post anything. I didn't really know that was Rosemary Clooney, but when George said it wasn't Dinah Shore, I just threw out another female singer from the 50s. If it hadn't been her, I'd have gone with Patti Page next. :D--> I admitted I'd never heard of The Tornados, now didn't I?
-
Rosemary Clooney?

Too funny. The only time I remember seeing Martindale in person, he was trying to teach in the pouring rain at ROA '74. I guess that was our fault too.

I thought there had to be some reason that my son and his buds went to see "Mean Girls" four times. I didn't think it was because of the dialogue and story line.
-
No idea.
-
Well I'll be darned. I always thought that was the Ventures. Don't remember ever hearing about the Tornados.
-
The Ventures are all Americans, the top instrumental rock group of all time.
-
Who else would go see them? What I thought was funny about this was that Disney obviously thinks that large breasts do not a family movie make, even in something as silly as a Herbie the Love Bug movie, so they felt obligated to shrink 'em. I apologize if anybody actually took this seriously.
-
Honest mistake there, Sudo. Sputnik - Telstar - practically identical. Whatever happened to The Ventures?
