  1. I am not so sure Donna lives in the log mansion anymore from what I heard. At least not by herself. Others will know more.
  2. Nice article. But Microsoft seems pretty lenient on reinstalling XP. Most time I just Activate over the Internet and it allows me to do so. Once I was told I had to call Microsoft to activate. Probably because I installed one of my copies of XP quite a few times while building various PC's for myself and changing hard drives galore. Of course I did not get Microsoft by some nice person in India. I told them I had to do a fresh install on my new hard drive and they activated me without hesitation.
  3. PC at work is my server which is Server 2003. I am not talking about Go to My PC. I do not care for it or PC Anywhere. Both suck in my opinion compared to Terminal Server. And I am told Citrix is even better. I am leaning towards it. Citrix Demos SUDO Remote Desktop is built into XP Pro. I bet you have never even tried it out before. You should. Its simply better than PCA which for one thing is expensive. PCA 12 I think PCA is headed for extinction because of the power of the free built in Remote Desktop. Try opening a word document on your work computer by using PCA. Then try printing that document on your local NETWORK printer (not a printer attached to a physical computer). I bet you can't. Also try to copy and paste from one drive to another within explorer. But in Remote Desktop the drives of both computers show up. Or try copying and pasting from the desktop of the host to the desktop of the other. You have to use file transfer which is slower and more clumsy. And don't even start with the graphics incompatibilities that can happen in PCA. Remote Desktop is better all the way around. And there is more support. You'll find Remote Desktop under Accessories / Communications. There is tons of info about how to set it up. You have to enable your computer to use it. Turned off by default. It's been there all along. Free. I dare not give my workers access to a server using PCAnywhere! Citrix or Terminal Server is far better.
  4. I don't mean to be disrespctful. But the fact is, getting rid of Malware / Spyware is not so easy. It could range from being a simple uninstallation of a program in Add/Remove Programs Bonzi Removal to formatting and wiping out your whoile hard drive and starting with a fresh installation of XP. There are so many variables to consider. Fist if it is anything other than XP I suggest skip to backing up all your data and install XP on a newer set of hardware. Win 98 is sooooo old and dead. Start by downloading and installing three free programs. Ad Aware Spybot Search and Destroy CCleaner. After you have installed them, run CCleaner fisrt. Then run the two others. THe fisrst cleans a lot of junk out of your system on its own. The C stands for Crap Cleaner. The others are adept at finding and removing spyware. One other thing I would do if I were you is unplug yourself from the Internet BEFORE running these programs. Don't plug the Internet back in until you are finsihed and have restarted. This is a start but there is so much more. There is no choice but to read and learn how to solve these problems. There is no magic trick that makes it easy. The fact is, the computer is infected. It can and will slow down your computer to a crawl and mess other things up. I suspect you have more problems than just Bonzi. Most people do. Let us know how you fare. I hope it is something very simple. Usually it is not.
  5. Making progress with USB printers. It was a Terminal Server Configuration Setting at the server. Had to uncheck something. But still no luck in printing to my NETWORK printers at my site (client). They have IP addresses that begin with 192.168.??? which are internal IP addresses behind my router. Any clues as to how I might redirect those printers in a Terminal session? I am thinking of trying Citrix. It looks very web based and easily configurable to limit remote users' access to the Server 2003 desktop, files, etc. Is there a demo I might try before I buy? Some of ya'll are so smart. Thanks.
  6. Hey Simon, when are u coming to FL again? Isn't it time for u to be a rover again? Stop by anytime. On another note, I hear ya'll in the 9th were under the rule of one TJ. I clicked on a recent "teaching" of his online because I was feeling self destructive. I almost puked. Thought that would bless someof you.
  7. Craig hasn't been a personal trainer at Bally's for quite a while, a year or more?? I highly doubt he wants anything to do. I believe he's done with that part of his life, just as some of us are. Probably a better man for it.
  8. Rosie posey probably. She's president. You can look at the laws concerning 501c3 nonprofit corporations. I am not sure what the laws of Ohio say but I would imagine the president has all the power. I think of a puppeteer when I think of her.
  9. Ha, ha, ha, from me to. That is not such good etiquette. It should be taught. “Of course, as Outreach Ambassadors, the Moynihans have been working heartily to bring the Word to the hungry hearts in their community. They have gotten acquainted with the city and the people of Southampton by going out witnessing. They’ve been speaking God’s Word door-to-door, at neighborhood social functions, and at local shops. They have weekly household fellowship meetings as well as weekly outreach events for their fellowship and others in the branch.” Sorry to inform you, Bobbie and Dottie. High speed Internet is prevalent in many of those door to doors. I know you have been out of touch with technology and all but it has been called the world wide web for a while now. Ha! We'll be sure to say hi to the ones who Google THE WAY INTERNATIONAL when they arrive here asking questions. They shall know the truth ant the truth shall set them free. Sounds like you are enjoying your pre-retirement years in style. Personally if people your old age came to my door I would consider calling the police. It's weird!!!
  10. Excellent piece of work. I hope you don't mind but I have copied that into PDF format so it can easily be sent or published. Alleged things VPW said to Busboy. Oh, and of course none of it was recorded or written down in spite of the fact that TWI including "Coachboy" and VPW were anal retentive about recording things and filming things: Comments a loving father allegedly made about his sons JP and Donnie, both of whom he loved very much: "J.P. [John Paul Wierwille] is a nice guy, but spiritually he just doesn’t have it; he’s weak..." "Son, (Dr. Wierwille allegedly speaking to Mr. Geer), I need to warn you, when I am gone what will happen is that Don (Wierwille) will really ‘flourish’. He will look like he is coming into his own and really developing. He may even start to talk like a biblical man. Son, it won’t be true; don’t believe it, it will just be a lie..." And here is the POWER PLAY statement. (I couldn't have written it any better myself.) "In my heart there were only two men who could have handled the Presidency, you and Craig. Right now there is only one man who can save the Ministry, that’s you..." Ha, ha, ha, ha! And people follow him, and listen to him? Oh, God have mercy!! Step back and take a broad look. I saw this whole thing develop before, during and after. Unlike many, we stayed in until 2000. It was so very obviously a power play that failed. The mistakes that ensued were what crushed it along with the corruption in the lives of both. Thanks, guys, you axxholes.
  11. This article from Microsoft admits there are problems: Quote: SYMPTOMS When you use Remote Desktop Connection or the Terminal Services Client version 4.0 or 5.0 to connect to another Windows-based computer from a computer that is not running Windows Server 2003, your local printers may not be redirected. As a result, your local printers are not available in the remote desktop or terminal services session. They give a registry hack but it does not fix the problem. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...b;en-us;q302361 BUt my printer ports already do begin with USB except for my Network ones. They are not connect to any ports!
  12. I appreciate all your answers. But as I originally posted, I have tried all this. I already knew these basics from the get go. But I still can not print. Bluezman, no. Other way around. I want to print the document which resides at the server on my local printer(s) at my home. Of course, the document at the server prints on the server printers just fine. But the printer redirection does not seem to work. It does not show up as it should. Sudo I have been using PCA for years. Terminal Server or in your case Remote Desktop blows it away in speed and securityand overall performance and simplicity. You should switch. You'll never go back. Remote Desktop is built into XP Pro, but not Home. Remote Desktop is same as Terminal Server from what I hear. Sort of Terminal Server lite. Jim I am going to play around with also checking Serial but I am pretty sure I have already tried that too. But to be sure I will try that again on these USB printers. Now for an even more complicated matter, I have network printers at my home. For those who do not know, these are printers not connected to a computer but available on the network for all to use any time. Pray tell how are these supposed to be redirected by Terminal Server! They have IP addresses beginning with 192.168.etc, etc. I think Terminal Server's printer redirection capabilities are behind. Anyone use Citrix? I hear that may be a better solution than TS and prints fine.
  13. I doubt I'll get much response to this one but maybe at least one person can help or answer. Using Remote Desktop or Terminal Server to access another computer at work from home. I can not get my USB printer or my network printer (at my home location) to print from my session at work. Does Remote Desktop/Terminal Server only work with printers hooked up to LPT1, LPT2, etc? I hope not. Otherwise they are lacking. Some computers these days no longer evern have LPT ports or floppies for that matter. I am pretty sure I have done everything right. Can you print? Is is a USB or Network printer?
  14. Call your priest. No time right now. Read past threads on here. Read the tons and tons of info about how to remove Spyware and Malware from your box. All u have to do is attend the "University of Google" for a short while to learn all u need to know. Others here will chime in.
  15. This is most likely yet another exaggerated, idiotic unwritten rule that has come about due to the fact that vee pee has stolen and plagarized so much work that he didn't properly quote or credit. So, now, in order to whitewash those facts, rosie the teacher makes sure that everyone gives proper credit where credit is due. Belle, I think you nailed it..really. Socks, hello. Chris was soooo funny. God rest his soul. Can Hope and I come to your Headquarters some day and visit? Will you sing to us at lunch as guests? Miss you guys.
  16. Of course not. Why give away part of your profits when you can run your own classes and tapes for 100% prophet. More MONEY. Don't kid yourself....that is at the heart of a lot of it. Greenbacks!! Some of these ministers are living large off the foundation which they got soley from TWI. Remember when it was common prcactice to "encourage" people NOT to send in their ABS to TWI? I do. Tens of thousands a month flowed elsewhere of course. It is rumored that one ex-leader lives in a million dollar house. Others are living large. Free country I suppose. That happens in BUSINESSES all the time. Some of them are just that. Not ministries. As Skyrider pointed out.......show us your NEW, NEW, NEW people. Not rehashed ex-TWI former foillowers who can't let go. They are all getting old and boring and their children are getting up there too.
  17. QUOTE , excathedra UNQUOTE And Shortfuse, I doubt they will heed your sound advice because it will indicate they are reading Greasespot. They dare not give it away that they come on here. But they do. Many innies do. Hi guys...get the hell out. What's up?
  18. Geer's "nod from God" would more appropriately be qualified as a "trustee stab and power grab." Ha, ha, ha, ha. Well stated Skyrider. Gawd, it is so obvious. And the stories I could tell you about busboy when we were in the Corps, well before he ascended mount New Knoxville. This picture is how I best remember driver boy (fisrst in the picture in front IN CONTROL of Dr & Mrs. It is sooooo figurative. And look at that biiiig smile. Camp Gunnison 7th Corps Photo It was all BUSINESS for scary Geery. Was he a nice guy? To some, Im sure. Oh, and excathedra could tell you MUCH more. But I am not sure it can be appropriately posted on this site. Sadly, Geerites do not even realize that they are clones of TWI II. THey are so "exclusive" as Skyrider so well describes. They shun you.......very nicely..... if you are not in the household of believers. This also makes them dull and boring and missing out on much life has to offer. Some will stay in their little "spiritual club" till they die. Sounds so very much like TWI. What a way to live. Not me! We wasted enough years in TWI, let alone in a clone of it.
  19. Atlanta Bible Fellowship: Bo & Stanley Reahard Scratch that as a spin off. Hasn't been active for over 5 years. They moved to Tampa and were attending an Episcopalian church near their beautiful home. But I think they got ousted for speaking up too much about corruption within and contradictory doctrine. They are retired and travel a lot and stay in touch with friends all over. But no spin off. Very level headed.
  20. Oh, and for that guy with the horrible annoying looking moiniker about VPW being a prophet or some dumbass bs...... it easier to let the pros handle transfering your VHS to DVD. It's simply worth the money and doesn't cost that much. They'll do a much better job than you using expensive equipment and a fancy case and thumbnails, etc. YES VIDEO And don't even think about converting your Lord and Master's PFAL class to DVD. As much as I dislike TWI, those who use PFAL or copy it are common thiefs.
  21. Chris since you are a technician I should make a copy for you of the best tool you could ever have as a tech. It is not sold but has to be formed, made and created from parts, ha. It is called Ultimate Boot CD. It is nothing short of incredible. It is the easiest way I know to access a crashed or trashde system and get right in to do anything even with full Intenet access and networking along with every repair tool imaginable. All on one CD. UBCD4WIN
  22. wierwille told me that he was ordained by god to fulfill my needs as a woman Isn't this the same Wierwille the Geerites idolize? Geery dumb duped ones! (Excathedra I believe you because I know the time period and the circumstances and I know there were others. I know this lie harmed you greatly.)
  23. That's an awesome video and story, excathedra. I really like that song too. Those are more inspirational than any boring bible teaching I ever sat in. I got in the ministry in Feb 1974 after a long drug binge and immediatly they took me to HQ where the first thing we saw was Ted singing and doing his thing at a little place in Minster. I thought I was having an acid flashback.

    Moneyhands

That sounds like the way Moneyhands treated many people around here. It was cruel, cold and callous. He should be ashamed at the people he hurt and should apologize to them for it as other leaders have done. It is my belief that he is too prideful to do that ever. Not man enough as I see it and also afraid. I'm glad I'm not like that. John Richeson Tampa, FL
