Name that Actor/Actress (or Role)
Human without the bean replied to Raf's topic in Movies, Music, Books, Art
Too bad. It's pretty funny. Good actors too. -
The lead actor was known as a television actor and the Oscar winning supporting actor ( he got his Oscars much later) would tell the lead actor that "he was a little television actor" while on the set just to get into his head and revoke genuine reactions for the Oscar winning director. The director had been trying to make the film in 1969 after reading a newspaper article. Based on a true story one of the dramatic (and there are many) scenes in the movie take place on the same Japanese transportation railway systems that was portrayed in the movie The Bridge On The River Kwai.

That was it. I had just remembered of my post after some of those lyrics came into my mind. I suppose the ? means you can't think of the band? That's ok. I kind of forgot myself. ~Violent Femmes~ maybe. You are up Bud.

The script would have to be Rocky and the scriptwriter would of course be Sylvester Stallone

Way to go George. I'll give you the round. It was The In Crowd originally done by Dobie Gray. He was probably best known for the song Drift Away. The Mama's and the Papa's recorded in also in 65'.

Sure, why not? So long as we go out there and win one for the Gibber! I think he co-starred with Jane Wyman quite a bit. He may have married her.

New tune Any time of the year, don't you hear? Dressin' fine, makin' time We breeze up and down the street We get respect from the people we meet They make way day or night At a spot where the beat's really hot (Where we are bound) If it's square, we ain't there We make every minute count, yeah Our share is always the biggest amount Other guys imitate us But the original's still the greatest

(George said) FYI, you were OK with Natalie Portman followed by The Professional. The problem was starting with SW Ep1, when the previous clue ended with that. Really? Why do you think I fixed it. I'm out.

And apparently I'm also wrong about the sequence that the second trilogy was in. It was 4, 5, 6, then, 1, 2 and 3. I lost interest after the fourth installment to the franchise; Phantom Menace. I lost interest in a lot of franchises after the stars who played in them were mostly in it for the money. Its sequel $, sequel $$, sequel $$$. This was a generation ago now, and nothing if anything has changed. Iron Man, Clash of the Titans, Captain America. These were OK until they went with the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th sequel. This is especially true with fantasy. However, Batman is the exception.
