  1. Good Lovin ~The Rascals~ I'm going where the sun keeps shining Thru' the pouring rain Going where the weather suits my clothes Backing off of the Northeast wind Sailing on summer breeze And skipping over the ocean like a stone
  2. My favorite Rain Man line comes in the casino when Charlie and Raymond are cleaning up on the black jack table. The club becomes suspicious and the cameras upstairs are looked for anything unusual and a security guy is asked for his opinion when he says, something like (he's Rain Man), "he's not catching the hold card, he's not using a computer, No, but something's not right"! "You know there's no one in the world who can count a six-card shoe", then, the film goes to Rain Man's eyes busily counting the six-card shoe. My son's has a wizard like attention to numbers. It's never 8:30. It's always, "my clock says 27 minutes after 8:00". He maps out the exact times and bus numbers when he goes places. And he goes a lot of places. He's very high functioning. Oh, and he's an excellent driver! Just kidding.
  3. Only recognize (and that's a guess) Lincoln Hawk. Is this Bruce Willis?
  4. Well I've watched it a lot. One of my boys has autism, maybe that's why I can relate to it. Dustin Hoffman is so spot on playing someone with autism it's like watching part of my life play out before my eyes.
  5. I guess it's just a personal favorite movie of mine then. It's Rain Man. I was just passing time with it until WordWolf puts up a post. <iframe width="740" height="384" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/tBGiU4usqqg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>
  6. I might add. This is a pretty easy one. (just right for this thread)
  7. Uma Thurman Dangerous Laisons Michelle Pfeiffer Oops, my bad.
  8. You knew it was Snowbird George, didn't you? So why the question? Yes, that's it. I was in love with Ann Murray for most of the 70's.
  9. Sure, why not! It's part of our makeup. Men have always played like they are the better sex, even though, they probably aren't. Maybe it's ego, but men feel more superior in the presence of women. I was in Utah once with a friend, she took me to the Mormon Tabernacle and I remember that there were a lot of beautiful women there as well, not to mention nosey sort of bi-standers asking me about my business, which was just taking a look around. As far as cults go, they are a peculiar bunch.
  10. In WordWolf's absence let me put up this: 97X, bam! The future of rock n' roll. 97X, bam! The future of rock n' roll. 97X, bam! The future of rock n' roll.
  11. Spread your tiny wings and fly away And take the snow back with you from where it came on that day The one I love forever is untrue And if I could you know I would fly away with you
  12. Yeah. Hope I wasn't holding things up. I just remembered this. Walt Kowalsky is of course from Gran Torino and a imo a Great movie. Frank Horrigan is an FBI agent in In the line of Fire. John McBurney is the unfortunate yankee soldier in The Beguiled. Your up here Raf.
  13. Alright. It's time. I thought a little Rod Stewart was in order. Young Turks <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/zQ41hqlV0Kk?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  14. Yeah, that's it. I didn't figure you for a "O Brother' fan George. The few times I've tried to use it everyone was shutout as in no idea, blank, not ta, zilch.
  15. Care for some gopher? No, thank you Delmar. A third of a gopher would only arouse my appetite without beddin' her back down. Oh, you can have the whole thing. Me and Pete already had one. We ran across a whole...gopher...village. Delmar's been saved. Well, that's it boys. I been redeemed. The preacher done washed away all my sins and transgressions. It's the straight and narrow from here on out. And heaven everlasting is my reward. What are you talking about Delmar. We got bigger fish to fry.
  16. Billy left his home with a dollar in his pocket and a head full of dreams He said, somehow, someway it's got to get better than this Patty packed her bags, left a note for her mama, she was just 17 There were tears in her eyes when she kissed her little sister goodbye
  17. Hey Mr.Wizard. Have you got one? (and by the way, I'm not mocking anyone, Hey, Mr. Wizard is one of my favorite lines from the movie Point Break).
