  1. It's all clear to me now! Not really. I know a couple of movies that he was serious in, but none of them where he was homeless. I've put too much emphasis on RW. Some of your dialogue seems like it would match Patch Adams, or What Dreams May Come. Not homeless in them either. Stumped.
  2. Thanks Wolf. The place where I come from is a small town They think so small, they use small words But not me, I'm smarter than that, I worked it out I'll be stretching my mouth to let those big words come right out
  3. There is a town in north Ontario With dream comfort memory to spare, I guess that wasn't easy enough. ~Neil Young~ Helpless Got another one: When I think back On all the crap I learned in high school
  4. Oh Sh#t . Give me a minute. It's ~Blues Traveler~ That's all I've got. "Luck" something?
  5. Yeah, it is a mob movie. Goodfellas Another one. Much easier. We rob banks!
  6. There is a town in north Ontario With dream comfort memory to spare,
  7. I thought that this would go fast. Sorry about that. The key I hoped that would give it away was the wiseguys thing. This guy is narrating here, maybe I should have made that clear.
  8. Pirates of The Caribbean (Curse of the black pearl) Johnny Depp Chocolate
  9. Sometimes it's an easy fix Excie. Try going to sound settings. Often the mute is on. Turn it off. Sorry. After giving this a more thorough read, I think that your problem is tougher than the an easy fix that I gave you. Actually, this is a trip. I bought a surround sound card (I'm looking in the instructions right now) thinking it would fix my sound problem. I never got around to using it. IDK if you fixed your problem by now Excie, considering that this post is 5 months old. There is a CD rom with my kit. I would be happy to review for you and see if I can help. Let me know.
  10. I've got one. A band of friends, kidnap a hostage, elude the police, orbit the sky, escape, and return the hostage to his home.
  11. Well, you know this but, for the sake of something fun; Russell Crowe has played A preacher, A detective, A Captain on a ship, A heavy-weight boxer, A mathematician, A Cowboy, and A thief, just to name a few.
  12. Hey, I think George would even approve of this one. For a second I thought I was dead. But, when I heard all the noise, I knew they were cops. Only cops talk that way. If they'd been wiseguys, I wouldn't have heard a thing. I would've been dead.
  13. Oh yes, that's a fun song. You pulled out a gem George. I didn't know it was done by studio musicians, namely Reunion. Yeah, I don't know why I came here tonight I got the feeling that something ain't right I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair, And I'm wondering how I'll get down those stairs Clowns to left of me, jokers to the right,
  14. I'm not a big fan of the "greatest hits" by musicians but mrs. bean is. I found inside the sleeve of her album that the song is an autobiographical look of how TM&TP's band formed. I knew that of course, but did not know the name. Creeque Alley Pronounced /Krek/, I assume. Is this a grey area frowned upon (in the rules) or a blatant breech of conduct of which I must recuse myself? Seriously, I'm just trying to have fun.
  15. I gather from the clue that, it is set in the post industrial period. The ain't "heard thing" implying that a lot of elements of that period were capable of making sound. Pre-industrial period things weren't moving so fast. No cars, freeways, railroads, or jack hammers making all that noise. This helps me eliminate about 30% of cinematic history. Rough estimate. That is unless it's a war movie. War has an element of noise that is centuries old.
  16. I tried to use some trivia whereby it wouldn't be so obvious from guessing. It is Taxi. Some people are just too quick.
  17. Oh yeah, figured it out. Louis Armstrong wasn't it. And, I thought the TM&TP's title to this song was subliminal.
  18. Actually, it does ring a bell, it's just the bell doesn't have a ringer.
