The series is nonsense. It's the original miniseries and 2/3 of the follow-up miniseries I was referring to.

V was better. Independence Day was worse.

Well, for some reason Aunt Petunia knows a lot more about the wizard world than she's been letting on. What that means is... well, I don't know what that means.

Hmm. I give up. :)-->

Oh, like you didn't think of it first. Hmm, water that doesn't do what is claimed when tested despite the best anecdotal evidence of unnamed scientists... Nope, I don't see any parallels here. You see any parallels here, Steve?

In the second book, the people who are petrified are all half-bloods (except Hermione, who I believe is pure Muggle born). So it could easily be... Colin Creevey!
-
Ah. Then I'll agree with Finnegan.

A half-muggle, half-witch whose identity as a prince would be a surprise? Piece of cake: Neville Longbottom. I thought he had a line like that in the first movie, but come to think of it, it may have been Finnegan. I have to go back to the first book when I have the inclination to see who really does speak that line.

I don't think I've seen this movie. These are not Blazing Saddles or South Park quotes, two movies that could well qualify as "funniest R rated movie."

How! did! I! miss! this!? Happy! Birthday! Steve!

I like Where is God When Bad Things Happen? and God is Relevant, both by Luis Palau.

Jeez, y'all are joyless. This movie was cool and fun. Had a great time. It was like a fireworks display: just as loud, just as impressive, just as lasting.

Oh, and pictures! Don't forget pictures!

Me, please. And I need specific dates for the weenie roast and the Oak wedding, to make sure we time this right.

"He seemed normal" is a journalistic cliche. It's right up there with "He kept to himself, didn't bother anybody." What it really means is "I didn't know him but if you insist on quoting me, my name is..." I rarely use those quotes.

We should be just about ready to start: did the ! family find Marvin the Martian at Six Flags? Only time will tell...

You can cheat to make sure the last entry is correct, but not to move forward. For example, in this case you could check the imdb page on Ray Walston to see if he was in the My Favorite Martian movie, but you can't check the movie on imdb because that would give you the whole cast (this is on the honor system: if you knew that Chris Lloyd was in the movie before you checked, then it's fine). I'm not saying this is what WordWolf did. It's just a hypothetical for future reference. So... Presumed Innocent Greta Scaachi Emma

I was away, but glad you guys checked it without me. Yes, Ray Walston was in the movie. Just as a different character.

You're up, George. Those are some great quotes, by the way.
