I swear I must live pretty close to what I would consider "paradise" I went for a run on a trail this hot summer afternoon, one that I found this spring, when you get about a mile in there is this really secluded creek that runs right along side of the trail for about half a mile, it's gorgeous in there, all decidous trees and very lush and dense, lots of willows along the creek! And it's not a groomed trail, it's right out in the bush, so far I have only met one person on it. It's got all these twists and turns, and ups and downs, so it's quite the workout if you run it a few times.

Well today was awesome, I ran it twice and got caught in a thundershower, at one end of it where you come out there is this massive cornfield, so I just ran out into the middle of it and stood there and got completely soaked !! On the way back as I passed the creek, all my senses when out the window so to speak, slipped my clothes off and went for a skinny dip, it was absolutely exhilerating!!!

I thought to myself, I have it so good here, how many places are there today where you can go do something like that, that's totally untouched or undisturbed ( absolutely gorgeous in there) and hardly anyone knows about??

I love Bagpipes, I must say that's pretty incredible! I'll share a little incident with you that's kinda similiar about the fireflies. I was out on a run at sunset, in the woods, I was quite aways in, I think 2 and half miles, it was getting dark and I tripped over some root and dropped my key remote on the ground. I searched and searched for that thing and couldn't find it anywhere, found it the next day, (had to get another ride home) it was under some bush, by the time I stopped looking for it, it was dark and I was still 2 and half miles in the middle of the forest, I start running back, but honest to god, I could barely pick out the trail, so I prayed about me getting out of there safely and within about 3 minutes as I was running I could see all these small lights , hundreds of them lining each side of the trail, I couldn't believe it, it was fireflies and because there were so many of them I could pick out the trail and make it out of there safely, there's more to the story but i just wanted to share about the firefly incident.

Do any of you guys get (not sure of the spelling) secadas ? Supposedly they rub their legs together to make this incredible sound, almost like a sizzling or electricity sound kinda like zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, oh forget it, I can't make the sound but you would definitely know it if you heard it :)

Ya know I can't even remember if I asked this question before( must be old age) and I refuse to go back all over the different posts again so I'm going to ask it. I picked up a "Fender" guitar for $100, it sounds great!!!

And the question is...................is "Fender" a good guitar???

A beautiful warm summer evening, I was just out laying on my hammock tonight, star-gazing, just like a canopy out there and I could hear the crickets in the background, I got to see the first fireflies of the season, flying around in the willow tree, summer is definitely here!!!

I have a question about this online dating thing.....................I've met and talked to a number of men now and right from the beginning I've let them know the boundaries as in I'm not looking to get seriously involved with anyone right now, I just want to be friends (and that's without benefits), in all honesty I want to play the field and I don't see anything wrong with that, I'm being honest right from the beginning.

What ends up happening is we get to know each other a little bit and they want more involment, more than just friends, but I am not into letting it be more than just friends aleast right now. So what happens is it's either more than friends or nothing! Whatever is wrong with just being friends and letting it go from there, I'm not in any rush, I want to take my time getting to know the person and not be exclusive. And I'm not the type that would go around being serious with one person and dating other people on the side.

Here's a scenario that just happened, I was friends with this guy and told him in the beginning that's all I wanted, I've been invited by someone else to go spend a weekend in their neck of the woods, (he plays guitar, alright I have a weakness for people that can play the guitar) anyways it's just going to be a fun weekend, well the guy I was FRIENDS with doesn't want me seeing anyone else or we're not friends anymore. What is up with that?? I have made my positon very clear and this is what goes on, what is so wrong just getting to know a guy as a friend and keeping it as a friend? Is it so wrong wanting to play the field and being upfront about it?
