Gotta brag just a little ---

This should (probably) be in the computer section but since some of us were discussing Macs vs PC the other night in chat, I thought I'd put this here. I just got a new iMac,

24 inch screen,

2.8 GHz

2GB memory

320GB hard drive

8x double-layer SuperDrive

ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB

This thing came loaded with more *bullets* than this old boy know's how to shoot. ;)

I've got a LOT of learning to do, but I will say this ---

The screen is large enough -- I can get two pages up and viewable at the same time, and the audio on this thing is better than my home stereo system!! Not sure if that's a compliment for the audio available on the iMac, or a comment on the quality of my current stereo system!!.

Anyhoo -- Just thought I'd toss this out here, for perusal... and maybe discussion. :)

Oh --- I need to add that I got the Aluminum keyboard --- definitely *light to the touch*, and when i click on a link (website), it's on the screen almost before I get done double clicking. This is one Freaking Screaming Machine!! :B) :B) :B)

Enjoy the new ride - we have the previous generation and upgraded the RAM to 3Gb on both mine & Hubby's iMacs. I love it - it's a total work horse... (And a fun toy!)
