In the early 80's, I was landscaping a back yard, and I looked up, and saw a green 18 wheeler with the way on it, going south bound on I 25, "The word on the move" I thought it said, how many of these rigs did they have? Did any of youins get to drive, or ride in any of these trucks?
Twi owned one 18 wheeler....and an 8th corps guy drove it.
He wrecked it around 1983 (?). I was in the Transportation Department office and saw the picture on the mangled mess. Howard Allen was extremely p.o.'ed about it.

Hope that 8th corps dude was ok, that would have been a drag, wrecking the only word on the move rig, the way had.

I remember a friend and I watching a real big semi on Route 60 as we sat in Ruffner Park. It was marked "columbian".
we both remarked at the same time, "wow... so that's where it comes from.."
