Jesus Paid it All

Well. . . Here are the words to the hymn which was slandered and degraded by twi.

So precious, so lovely.

So glad other Christians are not so ridiculing ridiculous.

I hear the Savior say,

"Thy strength indeed is small!

Child of weakness watch and pray,

Find in Me thine all in all."

Refrain:

Jesus paid it all,

All to Him I owe;

Sin had left a crimson stain

He washed it white as snow.

For nothing good have I,

whereby Thy grace to claim

I will wash my garments white,

In the blood of Calv'ry's Lamb.

Refrain:

Jesus paid it all,

All to Him I owe;

Sin had left a crimson stain

He washed it white as snow.

And when before the throne,

I stand in Him complete,

I'll lay my trophies down,

All down at Jesus' feet.

Refrain:

Jesus paid it all,

All to Him I owe;

Sin had left a crimson stain

He washed it white as snow.

Thanks. In the twi circles I was in "Jesus Paid it all" was never sung, only laughed about and ridiculed before the offering was taken. I had never heard it, and now that I am deaf I won't hear it until I see the Lord, but the words certainly are lovely. (I always wondered how it went because I knew He certainly did pay all of the price for me.)

I don't remember that one being slandered, either. Sometimes, in our fellowship, I've heard it joked that you don't want to sing "Complete in Him" right before receiving the offering, because of the lyric "There's nothing more that I can do -- Jesus paid it all"; but no one discounts the truth of the words.
