HA SURPRISE FOUND IN STOLEN SAFE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DEPUTIES IN DELTA COUNTY RECOVERED A STOLEN SAFE WITH A BIG SECRET...THEY FOUND ALMOST A POUND OF MARIJUANA IN IT. A BARK RIVER MAN REPORTED THE SAFE WAS TAKEN DURING A BREAK-IN. WHEN DEPUTIES FOUND IT AND CALLED THE OWNER TO OPEN IT, THEY DISCOVERED THE ITEMS HE DESCRIBED, ALONG WITH THE MARIJUANA AND 500-DOLLARS IN CASH. THE MAN SUSPECTED OF STEALING THE SAFE IS CHARGED WITH HOME INVASION. CHARGES AGAINST THE SAFE OWNER ARE PENDING. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

well when I was a teen living up there - they didn't arrest ya for that, they just "confiscated it" and smoked it themselves. So I guess some things do change.
