That much "in touch" with the cosmos or something? So important.. that the presidency of a defunct, gasping for breath cult, is somehow going to make a difference? Naw.. it's gotta be about the money.. and slaves.. Problem is, the new "queen" is gonna have to smell a lot like what came before..

All they seem to have left are examples from the distant past to draw from.. right down to the theme.

The american equivalent of this description? Bozo, dullard (rarely used now), oaf (sometimes used today), imbecile.. you get the idea.. I didn't say it, Irving did..

"these are samples that may have been CONTAMINATED in an industrial accident" the whole methodology of testing would be different. Mainly, they wouldn't crush the sample, they'd inspect only the first few microns of the surface.. I don't have a very kind description for the guy.. even somebody with a single class in high school chemistry would know better, or at least could understand or at least follow the description of basic testing procedures, unless he slept during class.

Oh.. may be off subject.. but my unsubstantiatable claim was during a debate with somebody about the trinity. The guy was arguing out of Colossians that Jesus could create. I pulled out my handy dandy bible that had a note in it from a meeting with one of der upper ups in der ministry that said "by his son".."it's not in the Aramaic". Dumb me, so trusting.. not the last time the wretched organization left me holding the bag.

what I wonder is.. where are the group of young, motivated, happy people who would ORDINARILY be up front in a choir like this? I remember years back when one or two were in the same age group as this bunch, and Branded was young and full of pep and exuberance. Now they are all old. Not being critical, I'm about the same age.. but.. what's up with this? Yeah.. if I was in the choir, it wouldn't be too pleasant to read this thread.. Perchance you are, I'd get mad. Not at people here, but at the jokers who dressed me in a clown suit.. you deserve better.. :) What are they gonna do next week? Dress them in cute little sailor outfits? sheesh..

So.. they want somebody who can move a crowd, a "charismatic" individual.. sound like they want somebody like loy. I would be careful what I wished for.. they may get the whole package. Eventually they'll have another mean, arrogant, over the hill just past middle age worn out excuse of a mogster looking to relive the loss of his hair, or manhood.. some don't age very gracefully..

For us perhaps.. I think they were shameless. It's amazing how far we allowed *mr* and *mrs* potty mouth to intrude into our lives.

I saw an old rerun of a Ripley's Believe it or Not today.. One person claimed they could give people a reading by examining their rear end. She claimed the left cheek held the past, the right one the future. claimed 98 percent accuracy with the readings.. people were lined up, willing to pay fifty some dollars to expose themselves..

"under-shepherding" Brow-beating the logic and common sense out of yet one more inductee..

I sttill don't think you quite understood what I said.. oh well.. People tend to do a pretty good job demonizing themselves.. make wild claims without proper qualifications.. then wonder what hit them.. I have made some unsubstantiated or unqualified claims before, and been asked for some verification.. it can be rather embarassing.. but I never stood before a judge and claimed I was some kind of expert and been called on it by a court.. that would be a little more than embarrasing.
