  1. the most bizarre part of this, is an organization holding him up as some kind of saint.. totally weird.
  2. It just seems weird. Maybe there is some logic in this.. maybe the situation is serious enough that they will need to blame somebody for dropping the ball in regards to the continuous prayer deal, in case something "goes wrong"..
  3. I dunno. This isn't the prayer forum, or in memoriam. If one wants to expect respectful posts, I think that would be the place to post a prayer request, or death notice.. instead, we get a request asking to join in a wayish slaverish 24 hour of prayer. Get in contact with us, so we can schedule you in.. from the staff of da word productions.. kinda weird if you ask me..

    November Sweepstakes

I made 230 contacts (with morse code). band QSO's points 160 0 0 80 6 12 40 103 206 20 72 144 15 39 78 10 10 20 --------------------------- total 230 460 X 64 multipliers = 29,440 now what does all of this mean.. I spent nine hours and forty five minutes off and on through the weekend on this.. The 64 multipliers mean I made contacts in 64 out of 70 ARRL sections. No contacts with Alaska, Puerto Rico, Louisiana, Southern New Jersey or Northwest Territories or British Columbia, Canada. I heard a station in Alaska make a contact with someone, and then move off of the frequency. maybe next year.. with a larger antenna..
  5. Oh, hi Galen. Nice to see you here.. hope all is well with you and your family..
  6. I dunno. The only ones who come to mind that aren't like that.. have left. Or been kicked out. well, no, that isn't exactly right either.. I've run into the same arrogance from some who have left, or were kicked out, and are "fellowshipping" in an offshoot. maybe, it's the ones who aren't like that.. have left. or been kicked out, and consumed a ton of lsd, or something, afterwards.. it's been a few years since I left. About the only thing wayish that still remains with me.. I just can't bring myself to play with a Ouija board.. I wasn't exactly a fan of that practice before involvement in the way either. So maybe it isn't wayish after all..
  7. what kind of governmental power do you really want here..
  8. I just hope we aren't too late here.. I mean.. we've waited for the dissolution of City States.. Now it looks like wating for the dissolutions of country sovereignty..
  9. Before I even read what you posted here.. that was my answer.."I do"..
  10. This character.. I picked up a now old computer.. it was a primitive one which ran DOS 2 from ram. Maybe it was Dos 2.11 or something.. but it would run a stinking terminal text program, and I was the first mobile packet station in Midland county, to make a digital exchange with W8QOI. This guy was (is) cool.. There are a handful of folks who still use Morse Code as a form of communication.. I hope you can meet me, somewhere..
  11. actually, I think they would just be glad or satisfied that you are gone.. the noble Commodore 64. I had someone ask once how to rescue text files and such from old commodore 64 floppy disks. There are few options. Get a new computer, relatively new. One that will still run some kind of packet radio program.. the older ones will save an exchange as a text file.. newer ones too.. very time consuming. Did you know the Commodore 64 had a hard drive offering at one point? we all found wonderful truths about god.. or we wouldn't be here, would we? I never owned a Commodore 64. One of my ham friends, I gave him a Dos computer.. see, you don't have to tell it it has to load some executable file. just type in the name of the executable file and hit <enter>. Its the same thing.. Yeah.. I keep thinking of my friend W8QOI. he is now buried some place on the other side of Mt. Pleasant.. I hope somebody in this existence holds me in the same regard..
  12. but the zombies have evolved. If they come of of the fabled sofa and consume your brains, well, they will have brains to eat one day. Teach them the *keys* and with a little self-restraint, they will have your brains and a friends brain, tomorrow.. just wait patiently.. ah yes, the refreshments. Please help yourself. We are serving the finest of Brains, slightly chilled, served with merlot, or cabernet.. without your brains, you might not even notice the lipstick stains and teeth marks on the Styrofoam coffee cups.. I noticed the marks on the styrofoam cups.. Fish Eye Cabernet is on sale at Krogers for 4.99. makes brains go down quite well..
  13. and somewhere along the line I would not fail to mention (factually or not) that I have five *major* pets, a mortgage, and $50,000.00 in outstanding student loans.
  14. I dunno. Should I go to fellowship.. The first meeting they will absolutely ADORE you. Mwwwah. Afterwards, you may have an urge to shower to wash the thick syrupy coating off.. but before I'd leave the meeting, I'd tell somebody that I believe in a trinity, and that jesus told me that it was ok to talk with my dead grandmother..
  15. Hands, across the water, hands, across the sky.. smile away quietly now.. smile away horribly now.. living in the heart of the country.. don't ask me the lyrics unless you dare..
  16. damned butter.. well.. thanks for singing the song with me..
  17. who is this drivel meant for.. sowy. Sowy, I can smell your breath from a mile away.. '' Smile away, quietly now..
  18. Too many people.. :) Too little, too many.. dear boy.. we're so sorry.. gawd.. mccartney got this.. who broke it in two, or was that in three, or four.. I can't say that I haven't done a bloody thing all day..
  19. How does one do this.. it all has to burn, in one's own mind.. then what is left..
  20. I think some of the other groups had a legitimate argument. "you worship the bible, don't you.." the way is such an immature religion.. rosie still wears training pants.. one and a half seconds look into the light and a person loses the inerrancy *problem*. another half a second, and one would be dead, or dissolved.. well, that's what it seemed like. Maybe it is just postponed for a moment..
  21. Or perhaps there were two (or more) schools of thought in the first century. Something along the lines of how we ended up with a two party political system here..
  22. Just a question, who are "those people"? As far as reason and religion are involved here.. there are times when my logical side saw me through, while the intuitive side went on some trip off somewhere.. and then there have been times.. my intuitive side waited for something good to happen (should I say believe?) when my logical side went nuts, counting up the facts.. then there is a part of me which tries (generally successfully) to mediate between the two. I have theories about this.. but I don't know how much you want here.. maybe faith and reason are two sides of the same coin..
  23. Congratulations again.. A hippie friend.. lol then a friend who loved dogs.. then an honourable Christian dude.. what other choices do we have here? I haven't even made it past first base here.. to find a hippy friend. You must be blessed..
  24. That was the decency in "dress code" in middle school here. The coke can rule. it only involved one. I dunno.. another two glasses of cabernet, and maybe I can figure all of this out.. cmon. There has to be at least one or two Eunuchs there that can throw the "administratrix" over the wall..
